If you could go back in time when your truck only had 63K miles
I haven't figured out how to navigate this site very well but I will look in the articles section if I can find it! my truck is a 5 speed. Do do you guys truly believe the studs stretch? Seems to me that it would be the gasket compressing... @jlbayes I purchased a big bottle of ARP lube for the job??!

If you could go back in time when your truck only had 63K miles
Update everyone: I want to build my truck right and want it to last many years. I purchased a set of ARP head studs. I have read many different posts all over the internet. I plan on replacing one stud at a time and re-torquing 3 times (head gasket is still in good condition). Do you guys have any links for the best instructions you have come across? I also purchased a set of 7x.009 SAC injectors that I will be installing as well. I am beginning to do my research on installing those. Again if you guys have any useful links that would be greatly appreciated. Please give me whatever advice you guys can offer. I would like to do this right the first time to avoid problems down the road. Thanks guys!

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
My quad app also freezes and looses connection. Happens if my tablet (Samsung Tab) sits in the truck all weekend without being fully shut off. Also, seems to freeze after 3 continuous hours driving. Thought it was the Tablet so I returned it for a replacement. Same situation. Going to move the Bluetooth module as well. Trying to track the culprit one step at a time.

Any expectations when this latest update will come out?

Oh that's definitely reassuring haha. I wasn't sure if my truck was getting ready for takeoff or not Learned something new about how the high idle works. Now that you educated me having that option is nice??!

I was definitely sweating bullets thinking I did something wrong when I flashed it haha.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
It was red because it was already past 120* (have the warmup set). Rpm went to 900 then jumped to 1200 at idle. I drove to the gym and let it sit. Now I restarted it and it didn't high idle (coolant was already 150*). Maybe it just did something funny right when it reconnected from the latest update?

I might have missed something when updating. My high idle use to kick off when warm-up temp was met. My warmup is set at 120 however my high idle isn't kicking off. Coolant is 167. I used the latest update that was posted.

UPDATE: Boost elbow installed. I purchased the adjustable one and decided to put it in without cranking it all the way down. Easily seeing 24psi now! Thanks everyone!! @IlikeoldfordsI have already put a FASS 150 lift pump on the truck with 1/2" lines from the bean sump to the VP44. So I am safe in that department.

Ok guys I think I might have a slight delay on the upgrades. I have been watching my gauges and I have noticed I cannot build more than 17 psi of boost. Even when I am running the quad on hot. I have attached my log so you guys can see. I have orderd a boost elbow but I am not sure if I have a bigger problem on my hands. What do you guys think? *guess I cannot attach a picture because it's too big.

@Me78569& @jlbayes you guys are definitely right. Right now I am just looking for a few extra ponies under the hood, one day I will definitely be looking into getting a bigger turbo. Or maybe I don't have to get a turbo if the injectors I get put out enough power. If I am sitting at the 350 hp range that is totally fine by me. I occasionally tow Horse trailer (10K), camping trailer(5K), and a hunting trailer(3K). I also own a jeep I would like to tow around one day as well. I did a ton of research before I bought the 5 inch exhaust I went with the 5 inch due to the sound. It's not too bad on the highway but if I get on it you can hear me coming. Budget right now is about $500-$700 for the next upgrade

@Me78569 since we have the adjustability on the quad should I do injectors and then wait a little bit down the road to do head studs and the turbo? @dripley sorry for the confusion, the list of upgrades is stuff I have already done to the truck. So everyone knows what I'm working with. I definitely lucked out on finding a truck with such little miles truly a barn find LOL.

If you could go back in time when your truck only had 63K miles
Hey everyone I have been doing a ton of research lately trying to figure out what upgrade I want to do on my truck. I have looked over many different threads regarding injectors however these threads are almost 8 years old now. I have also been following the Quadzilla V2 threads very closely and recently purchased the iQuadBT. Like most guys I have gotten the thirst for more horsepower. I am on a limited budget and I am still looking for a reliable daily driver. So my question to you is, if you guys could go back and start with a truck that only had 63,000 miles on it what would you upgrade next? Here is my list of upgrades(for now): 1. 5 inch Turbo back exhaust 2. BHAF 3. FASS 150 4. Quadzilla V2 5. Bean Sump For some reason I cannot figure out my signature but my truck is a 99, 53 block five speed with only 63,000 miles.

I tried that when I was towing and it went down to 17mpg. Would it be different if I am empty? I'll try it out here shortly. I am getting on the road. Stay tuned

Thanks guys I appreciate the feedback. I had a feeling it could have been the thermostat... that sounds exactly like the culprit of my "downhill cooling". @Me78569 by increasing wiretap PSI that is the Pump Low Boost Scale PSI line correct? What would you suggest?

Feel free to give me some advise! My truck has: 5" tbe, BHAF, FASS 150. It is a 5 speed and also has stock injectors. Since I installed the iQuad I can't believe the power on some of the tunes! It definitely wakens the beast and gets her moving in a hurry. I have also noticed that my truck runs a lot cooler. If I coast down a hill that is a mile or longer my coolant temp will drop down below 140. Is this a common occurrence for you guys as well? I ran the two tune last weekend and averaged 18.4 MPG towing a trailer @63 MPH. This weekend I will be doing another 1000ish mile road trip and I will be interested in trying a economy tune you guys come up with.

I will post up my results from my road trip. I averaged 18.4 mpg towing a 4000lb trailer with the bed full of hunting gear @63 mph. From Yuma to San Diego. There is a significant grade on that stretch as well. @Me78569 is the above link for guys with stock motors?

Everything is operational. I will be taking a 500 mile road trip starting tonight. Hoping to mess with different tunes and try out one of the economy tunes. Thanks everyone for all you're hard work you have put into this. This tuner is a game changer!

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
I just flashed and downloaded the latest update this afternoon, and also chose normal fueling. I copied a few tunes that I found on here and was driving under the performance tune (moparman posted) and for some reason iquad on my tablet quit. However, I could tell that it was still in the performance mode as I was driving because the acceleration pick up was far better than stock.. What do you suggest I do?? I tried turning the truck on and off I also restarted the tablet and made sure the Bluetooth was still connected. My truck is mainly stock I don't have injectors I don't have any turbo upgrades I have a fass 150 in a 5 inch Turbo back exhaust. The truck is running fine I'm just not sure how to get iquad working properly on the tablet
