Drive shaft U joint at Rear diff Yoke
Gents, I have done some searching online and have not been able to solve my problem. Under acceleration I can hear a squeaking noise while accelerating however when I am decelerating in gear I can also hear the noise I believe my needle bearings have worn out on the u joint it’s self. Granted the 20 to 80 mile an hour pulls don’t help much??♂️. Any help with the sizing would be greatly appreciated. Spicer sizes preferred!

iQuad BT tablet/phone setups
@Unreal Summit https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B074PD1GNY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_pd_title this is by far the best mount for the Samsung galaxy tab e-lite. I went through 5 different mounts. Tighten the allens on the mount in the link above and it’s rock solid!! There are two Allen’s one in the base and one on the side

Front Pinion yoke U joint
The tabs don’t exist. From the research I’ve done there are 3 different sizes. The I just don’t know what size is correct. Would a new strap kit have the tabs? My yoke is unmolested and I think it’s a hybrid u joint 1330 on the drive shaft and 7250 on the yoke?

Front Pinion yoke U joint
Gents, I replaced my front u-joint at the pinion yoke a few months back. I was in the process of installing my posi lock when I noticed I had another problem??♂️.... The caps on that u joint fell out. Does anyone have a spicer part number? I have also attached a picture from my buddies 01 and it has a different yoke that retains the caps. I cannot seem to get a definitive answer for the correct u joint. So so far I think I need a spicer 5-7437x but I am still not for certain. Anyone have any ideas? Also, I’m not opposed to switching over to another brand.

P0237 Code
Ok gents found a map locally got it installed and she is back and very much alive. No more limp mode!! However it still reads 1 psi at idle. Anyone else experiencing that? My factory MAP always read 0 at idle.

P0237 Code
ok I have a constant 5v to my map sensor. The oil pressure sensor has always been giving me a good reading. The MAP’s online are $24 but in the parts store they want $120... OUCH

Sounds good gents. I’ll be trying to tackle this problem today! I’ll periodically check in and let you guys know what I’m finding. Thank you!!

P0237 Code
@dripley electrical demons in the harness are so much fun... haha oh well I guess we can’t expect these dinosaurs to be maintenance free all the time! I was also wondering if it could be the iQuad pigtail harness that connects to the MAP sensor and another sensor?

P0237 Code
@dripley did you follow an article to fix the 5v wire?

P0237 Code
@Me78569 ima check it in the AM. When I limped home I think it read 0 the entire time on the quad As I was driving the truck as soon as I shifted to 3rd and got on it it seemed to defuel and not allow any boost to build. Prior to the limp episode the boost would read 1psi at idle and when you’d let it idle in level 0 it would read 2 psi.. I thought that was always a lil weird. Back when this issue first popped up I bought the replacement MAP on amazon and then I installed it prob mid November. Could this MAP sensor be the culprit?

P0237 Code
@IBMobile if I don’t have any diagnostic tools other than an OBD2 reader and a volt reader can I still test the volts to the sensor?

W-T ground wire mod - Simplified
Do I remove it at the PDC? I am all the way there I believe. It’s right at the fuse block under the hood correct? @IBMobile

W-T ground wire mod - Simplified
“Now you show be able to have both the ground lead and the alternator charge lead loose now. I will admit the alternator lead took a bit of work to release at the knot of tape on mine where it breaks out of the loom heading for the PDC.” @Mopar1973Man What do you do with the charge lead? Where do I cut it or do I unhook it from somewhere? I’ve searched @W-T‘s article as well with no clear direction and I want to do it right!

iQuad BT tablet/phone setups
OK all, those of you that are running the V2 tuning with the iQuad let’s see your phone/tablet setups!!! I am looking into buying a new one because my Samsung galaxy tab E has started to fail and the screen is separating from the tablet. Not sure if I want to upgrade to a different tablet or replace this one?!!

Choosing the right turbo
@ofelas definitely fill out your signature that will help the guys with recommendations
-
Choosing the right turbo
@ofelas I also decided on the 62/68/14 SXE, it is a great turbo. You can keep the EGT’s down while towing but when you wanna get moving in a hurry that turbo has minimal lag and lights HARD. With a chip you can rip the tires loose fairly easily when not loaded.

V2 latest update MPH/Valet power mode issue
@Me78569 with the update I did the reduction happens when the truck is moving like 5mph. Before it was immediately when I hit the throttle. The high idle also now kicks off as soon as the truck starts moving before the update it would high idle till I hit the throttle. For instance I would coast downhill and it would stay in high idle. Now as soon as the truck moves the high idle shuts off. @Quadzilla Power Ok sounds good. I will also flash the chip again maybe I did an old flash!

V2 latest update MPH/Valet power mode issue
@Quadzilla Power have you encountered these bugs or do I need to try an re-install the APP and re-flash my box?

V2 latest update MPH/Valet power mode issue
Anyone else seeing issues with their MPH I use the corrected Speedo feature for the quad to get my MPH. And the latest update I will go from 62mph to 67 it never reads in between. Also I use the valet mode to theft purposes and I accidentally started driving with it in valet power mode 1% and it doesn’t cut out like it use to. It use to almost stall when I would start driving if I forgot to change it. Just curious if if anyone else has encountered this prob!!!

Head gasket blown - Coolant leak
I was able to wiggle jiggle the stud into place without having to do much with the cowel. Just put the stud up in the hole found a secondary hole that went a little deeper then cleared the head and dropped into place. I wonder if they changed something between 1999 and 2002 . I recall you warning me before I did the job but I didn’t encounter it! Regardless nicely done, I just got caught up with the whole HG post!

P0237 Code
I’m running Moparman’s daily tune that he has posted. I was pleasantly surprised because I wasn’t trying to hit high numbers. Can you also also elaborate on the ground mod? Never heard of that method?

Head gasket blown - Coolant leak
That’s unfortunate to hear Mike?. I tried to torque my studs back down after mine was spewing oil to no avail. Depending on if the coolant has pushed the gasket out or if it just has enough of a gap to leak studs could possibly fix without a complete tear down. Worth a shot if your buying studs anyways ?. Any radiator fluid on the dip stick?

P0237 Code
Gents I need some expert opinions! I just had a p0237 code pop up. My truck is running very well and I just averaged 19.7 MPG @70 MPG on the freeway (hand math). Now I have done some preliminary research and I see it’s the map sensor.. I cleared the code and am running the truck. Unfortunately I have an elk hunt that starts Friday and I leave Wednesday morning (not much time for repairs). What causes the code? Boost leak? Faulty connections? If it comes on again I will be in a different state and it’s up in the mountains do I need to be concerned? As I mentioned above my truck doesn’t seem to be missing a beat but I’ve read the map sensor can effect performance. And if I’m towing a trailer up the AZ grades I don’t want to have issues
