Does it come on immediately with key on? That's a symptom of ECM failure. The 2001 and 2002 are known for that. As far as 2 stroke oil I just keep a gallon in my truck bed and dump some in at every fill up.

The filter? I got rid iof that POS immediately after I bought the truck.

Yep sounds like you need a new VP like hawkez said is it it a p0216? If so that's the death code for the pump. Basicaly it's a mater of time till it breathes it's final breath. Could last a day could last a year as is. If you don't care how it's running buy a pump and keep it handy so you have it ready to install when it goes. Also that's a very wide pressure swing. I recommend a big line kit from Vulcan diesel from filter to pump and half inch fuel lines. I have less then 2 psi pressure swings with the above mods. Also some have had good and bad luck with the Fass ddrp. Might be a good idea to get another pump to keep handy such as a airdog raptor or Fass titanium. And welcome to the forum my freind! I just bought a set of mirrors from 1A Auto and I am very pleased. Good fit and finish.

I had never heard of a rim cracking. Apparently it’s from towing and possibly striking a curb. I’m very happy with the 3rd gens so far. Haven’t been in the mud yet but we’ll see how that goes.

Ok guys I had a tire that kept going low so I sprayed it with soapy water Nd found out the rim had a crack in it! I found this set of 07 Dodge OEM wheels and tires with 20% tread for 300$ on local Craigslist. I love the looks of these! Sorry the truck is dirty so not a great picture. Now @Mopar1973Man these are 265/70/17 tires. They look great and are lighter than the old setup!

Thanks for the info Ben! I was never aware that injectors responded better in a HO pump. Iv noticed hat although the injectors add 75 hp a can bus 65 hp tune has wayyy more umphh than the injectors.

Is an HO different with injectors alone? Everyone tried to tell me mine was was a HO becuase of the 6 speed but the engine tag says it’s a 235HP engine. Looks like we both have the same injectors. No doubt they woke the truck up but he power is not the same as a tuner.

I did not rebuild it. I had a boost leak and it helped a little to fix that. Like others have said injectors alone will be laggy.

Well folks currently my truck is running perfect and getting 18 mpg! I have never been so pleased! Lol this is the top mpg I have ever seen with or without a chip. That qaudzilla is gonna be coming soon and hopefully with that I can hit 20 mpg. And this is not hwy mileage this is local driving and a couple 40 mile trips.
