The orifice tube is fixed, an is made into the liquid line which passes under the battery box. Getting oem from dodge for $35 aftermarket is $45

Couldn't find just the clutch, found a new now compressor, drier, o-rings, an oil for $300 on eBay!

Ok I now have the ac fixed!!! The clutch was bad on the compressor! Replaced with new now truck is blowing 40* at idle now!

I have access to dodges wiring diagrams! Think I found the problem will post soon as I know for sure!

Mike, aren't the relays built into the intergrated power module?

:banghead:Ok I've done some checking, when you have truck running and a light tester at the wire on the clutch, the light tester will light up 3 or 4 times and compressor tries to kick in. So I made a jumper wire from hot side on battery and ran to the wire for clutch, compressor kicks in and runs and cools good! So where do I go from there?

That's the weird thing! You can turn the clutch freely!

I have the programmer on my truck, an I love it! --- Update to the previous post... I have mine set to alert when the fuel pressure drops, and that way I know I need to check filters or look for someother problem!

Hey fellas, I need some help on an 06 2500. The truck belongs to a friend of mine an he called me an said his ac went out! I told him i would try an help out on this! Well I had a friend that works from dodge check it out, he said it was a bad clutch on the ac compressor. I order new compressor for the truck, an today I was driving the truck down the road with the old components still on, an the ac started working fine! Turned the truck off now ac is dead again:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: Can anyone tell me where I need to look at on this thing?:pray: The truck is an 06 2500 ctd with 5.9 cr

Well change of plans! I found me a 2007 Dodge 3500 with 5.9:drool: Clean truck has 421,000 miles on it! Can buy it for $10,500, so I'm talking to the bank about the money!

On my airdog ii 165 there is an allen plug on top of the filter housing! That's where ad told me to plumb my gauge! Its 1/8 pipe plug! Mpm said to use the black plastic air line! The part store didn't have any so I used a 1/8 hydraulic hose! I'll take a picture in a bit an give you an idea on how I plumbed mine.

That brings back memories, I don't miss!!! Although I love the smell of burning wood!

I have 2 of the 98.5 24v, and if the wts light doesn't come on, the truck just turns over! But as soon as the wts light comes on the lift pump fires and the truck will crank and run! I've had my ecm reflashed an it didn't help on my truck! I've been dealing with this for several years now, and haven't found the answer!

I took the parents to Nashville on Wednesday, so they could enjoy a few days of vacation with my brother and sister, since they went to Pigeon Forge, Tn without me!:cry: Nashville was the half way point to meet! So we (the parents an I) were cruising along and we stopped for a restroom break at a lil conveince store! Nah nothing is left of the deer! That night was crazy! I normally drive about 70-80 every where I go! Brother was like oh ok, had his arm hanging out the window and just talking, I come through the curve and see something movement on the shoulder, hits brakes and bam!:doh: Truck kinda slides sideways a lil bit and then big ol bump from running over the deer! So I turn all my caution lights on and flashers, pull over to the shoulder, grab the flashlight and walk back to see what had happened! See the deer laying on the shoulder, it looks at me an blahs!!!:lmao: I call a deputy sheriff out looks at me, looks at the truck, says deer slayer! I said your crazy man the deer hit me!!! I'm the innocent bystander! He's like yea right! So I guess if I had been running 70-80 the deer would be alive and my truck wouldn't be totalled!!!:cry:

well i thought about that, i'm kinda figuring that they are going to offer me 7500 for my truck less the deductible bring it to 6500 and then to buy it back for about 2500 and that leaves me with 3500! the bed i'm wanting to put on my truck is 4200 installed ! but i do have to consider what all i have done to my truck like the new air dog II, rebuilt nv 4500, new brake rotors wheel bearings pads seals ball joints new rear springs edge programmer scan gauge II two way radio for police dept cb radio foldable tow mirros and the list goes on an on! all this stuff i would have to change back out because i have 2 other duallies that use these parts! so i'm kinda in limbo on what to do! although i really would like to have a true 4 door truck !!!

As you know I currently have a 98.5 24 v quad cab 3500! Well June 15, a dang deer hit the right side of the bed! It caved in the bed and busted the fiberglass dually fender! The insurance company came out looked at said there was 6400 bucks worth of damage done to the truck, so they are in the process of totalling the truck out! Roughly speaking the blue book value of the truck is $7500 less $1000 deductible! So I'm trying to figure out whether to keep the truck, or just take the money and upgrade to a newer true 4 door quadcab dually! I don't know what year to leans toward, although today I found an 07 3500 4 door cab/chassis with flat bed, not running with 315k on it for $7500. They seem to think it's an injector problem! So fellas help me out on what to do!m I know yall are very wise!:smart::smart:

I wish I only had a 250 limit! :lmao:Btwn truck, backhoe, dumptruck, health, and life insurance, I pay out about 1500 a month :mad: I had a deer hit me in the side of my truck last month, went by the body shop and he said it did $6400 worth of damage, so I filed a claim, the adjuster called and said she totalled my truck! So my insurance is prolly fixing to go up again!:cry:

Russ, I built a custom from bumper for my dually a few years ago, an I wanted to have 4 led lights on each side to flash when I turned the signals on! What I did was on a 2 wire led light was I ran the positive to the park light, and the neg or ground to turn signal! Here is a pic of the truck with just park lights on!

I see you live in MO, there is an isurance company based out of there that had the best rates I've ever seen! It is called Mercy Health Plans, their number is866-450-3249 They are based out of Springfield, MO. Had insurance with them till they quit writing in AR Give them a call , I think they will do you good! I had an awesome plan with them an it was 86 bucks a month, and the deductible was only a grand! I was 30 when I started the premium was 71 bucks so I would say with you being in MO it should be pretty much around that neighborhood!
