Buying a Quad soon
@Mopar1973Man thats great. Got a good one for stock turbo hy35 and RV275s? Right now i have left it on default tune level 2. Going to run 1 tank at that setting and see what it does for mpg. I've got a lot to learn.

Oil galley plug thread size
@Nekkedbob. Definitely straight thread metric. M10x1.00 to be exact. @dripley. Found what i needed at Parker this a.m. send me your address and i can drop this plug in the mail for you. Parker pn for anyone who wants an adapter to install a 1/8" pipe sending unit for oil pressure gauge. At $19.49 it wasn't cheap but it's right.

Oil galley plug thread size
Anyone know what this thread size is and what its actually called? 1/8" ntp screws into it but this is a straight thread that seals with an o ring. NPT is tapered. Thread pitch gauges are at the shop

Quad tune name change
Can you change the name of a custom tune in Quad? I've looked but cant find how to or if i have to delete it and redo the tune under a different name.

Quad gauges
I thought it was just my screen with that menu button in the corner until i read some. Seems to take me 3 or 4 tries to get it. I have oil pressure, boost, trans temp, water temp, pyro, fuel pressure, volt and air pressure gauges so i really wont use the tablet much. I just couldn't figure out how i switched gauge lay outs. I am going to move my oil pressure sender to a port on the driver side of block and put the oil temp sensor in the filter housing. Might get the fuel sender for the Quad later but don't see a real reason to right now.

Assassin or Fuel Boss?
@IBMobile is right about Amazon. I order all my filters and oil from them. Usually buy 2 or 3 packs but be sure to check because sometimes its cheaper to order multiple singles. When I installed my fittings i used a small drop of hydraulic brake assembly lube.

Ok. Called Quadzilla talked to Marco (i think). Don't know what i was doing wrong but got it connected. Starts and runs, turbo timer works, gauges work. Now to start tuning.

Assassin or Fuel Boss?
Baldwin & Fleetguard are both good filters. I found the Baldwin had better reviews when i was looking. I'm sure others may say Fleetguard is better. Probably can't go wrong with either one. The PF7977 is a 5 micron filter where stock for my 01 was a 10 micron. Listed use is 03-09 5.9 but it fits/works fine in the 98.5-02 24 valve. Stay away from Fram/NAPA/Autozone etc. here's your strainer pn.

Assassin or Fuel Boss?
@Octafish you can't go wrong with that set up. Use a Baldwin PF7977 filter in the stock housing.
-
Assassin or Fuel Boss?
Mechanical only with fuel strainer and factory filter housing.

Is there a tune on here that anyone would recommend for me to start out with? Right now I'm just driving it daily empty not hauling/towing.

Buying a Quad soon
I spend too much of my day at work repairing wiring thats been tapped into-From scotch-locks which I hate to posi-taps that failed-to mess with that kind of thing. I don't like cutting into factory wiring if i don't have to. Stealth plate looks like a much better option. I already have a trans temp gauge and was planning to use the sender from Quad for oil temp. Good info on tuning with the oil temp @Mopar1973Man. What should timing stay under with stock head bolts?

Thanks for the info. I have lots to learn so I'm sure ill be asking more questions as i stumble my way through this. I guess I'll go ahead and order the Stealth Cover when i get the Quad since its all on sale.

@hdpwipmonkey where do i find the tune builder on this site? Also, is there any real advantage to wire tap if I'm not running big injectors or looking to make big power right now? The RV275 are only 40 hp over stock so I'd call them very mild. Sooner or later I'll get some 7x.010's but i dont see doing that for a year or 2.
