Time to put on a good exhaust. Here in trinity county, ca we only have to pass smog once so time to trick this dodge out I want to do exhaust, better turbo and tight tranny. Please suggest. Also from albuquerque to flagstaff ALL UPHILL! Tranny slips. The guys at aamco over filled two inches on dipstick!! I should have done it myself. Also mike, i cheated and just took the spring out of lift pump and streched it a little and holds 18 psi and have never seen it come close to 15 wot. Tried the washers first an shot up to twenty probably wrong size though. heres where i put my lift pump. Gonna make a mud flap over it soon. [ATTACH]4217[/ATTACH]Got it way up there nice and high

Sweet!! I passed smog with the edge removed and left the harness danglin!! The smog guy didnt like it at all!! Also made it to northern cali from albuquque with twenty foot flatbed with toyota on it. [ATTACH]4216[/ATTACH]All good!!!

Old dude tol me that its activated by friction and when silicate and some of the other ingridients find a crevice to "eddy in" the stuff ripping past that eddy stores glass in there long enough to bond. I put some in a twenty two r in it once n got fifty thou out of it and it was leaking water into oil via head gasket ( and some say it only works on allulinum ya right!) If anythingIt could fill in any tentative leaks or unnesessary "eddys". Throughout your whole system.

Not sure if you were bieng sarcastic or not mopar man, but that is what its used foe is picklin eggs also its the stuff they seal milk cartons with. It will find the leak and stop it and the rest will cycle around then you drain it and put your usual concoction in. It will hold all the pressure your motor will give it. Ive had to use it several times in my life and i tell you it works fine. No harm.Dont use alumaseal. Thats bad.

Get some water glass from a pharmacy put clean water in and a quart of water glass. Run it for a week then put antifreez back in. It could last up to two years.

Ya I hooked up edge myself just wondering how accurate the boost gauge is on it. I figured on taking edge off for smog test. Also the back of my hy(auto tranny) is leaking. What's up with that. Also I had the tranny filter and oil changed and now the tranny runs at one seventy. It didn't go above one fifty before that. Same temps here all week

Got my 5" exhaust in what's next
I asked the same questions and ended up going with rv 275, bhaf, fass one fifty, edge awj cts, scan gauge 2, and a vp 44 ( out of necessity ) and some head bolts (peace of mind). Thanks to the help I got here I can see twenty four mph. At sixty five, twenty three at Seventy. And when I'm feeling frisky it will burn out till I take my foot off. Blows some coal too!! If I cruise at fifty five on flat ground with my foot(no cruise, ) scan says twenty six the whole time.

So Ive been lookin through and searching every thread for info on how to adjust waste gate. I'm new to diesel so I am probably not even wording this corectlly. Plus my fat thumbs don't spell right on iPhone!!basically I'm looking for info on boost. I can get to twenty. Also is the gauge on the edge for boost accurate?Where does it get it's info.and does anyone have any exPerience with passing smog in California? Will mine pass ?

So te300 here. Had to go fly to Arizona so haven't left for Cali yet. When I return to new Mexico on fri june 1st I am going to hitch up a trailer to my new to me dodge and tow my Toyota t 100 home to the emerald triangle.So my question is should I have double a em c o do a filter change on my tranny before I leave?The tranny seems fine but I suspect that it has never been done. This is an aautomatic tranny whatever came stock. Should I have them do a ful on flush or should I just drive it home? I just don't want to create problems. Thanks guys.

Nice song on the second video. Pffff. Good drivin though. Thanks mike. Just got a scan 2 from auto zone for one thirty. I will order a wye tommorow. Then it should be good to drive home to the emerald triangle, Cali from here in Santa fe where I've been doing this work on my truck for two weeks. Can't wait to go home and show all those tree huggin stoners my sweet ride, and smoke em out!!thanks to all of you and I'll check in with you when I do my next project, transmission and turbo. Like a raped ape!! These trucks make some Power man! How do you drive around at 5x5? I put mine on two or three by five and pass a convertible and smoke em out! I like it. As for that elbo I don't know it says it's optional and won't work on all models, like mine. Also my egt goes up to eight hundre on the freeway real easy is that ok?And how accurate is the mpg on the edge? Seems to jump around a lot. But when I'm doing seventy on freeway flat it holds pretty good at 22 mpg!Thats sweet, my t one hundred gets 18 and this things twice as bigim a dodge fanatic now and intend to do more improvements soon.If I get a scan gauge will that hook up with an edge installed?You guys are the s..t !!! So if you are familiar with the "whipping the dead horse" thread then you are up to speed on my truck. Recap; new fass UNO five oh- new vp 44- new rv 275- new heavy duty studs- new edge cys w/ juice- adjusted valves- new oil. So how high should my egt be at start up? And then when it's wArm?How accurate is the engine temp on edge? My fuel pressure rides at 16.5 and doesn't go below 15 at wot. Is that ok?My turbo has a hard pipe and I couldn't put elbo on from edge, is that an issue?the banjo bolt from edge wouldn't jive with my fass fitting at vp so should I get a fitting that works? As far as I can tell it just is a low fuel pressure warning?On the edge you can adjust boost for all settings, what's a good setting for that? I see that if you put it at five boost kicks in early and smokes more than I do. Thanks guys. Couldn't do it without you

Almost finished installing the edge with attitude. Spent most of the day on it and a killer touch screen stereo with blue tooth for I phone and a back up camera and garmin. It streams music of my iPhone playlist and all kinda cool stuff. Also rv 275 And head bolts comin tommorow at ten am. Going to check/ adjust valves if needed. I did get some parts from your vendors and am getting more soon. One vendor said don't tap wire on vp for six months or it will void warranty. If I don't what will be missing from edge? So I think I'm going to do the tranny next. Do you guys have any input on that. Want it tough cause after I do that it's all about turbos and straight pipe out the back.the plan is to have a mild mannered four hundred hp. It's happening fast to I've only had this thing for almost two weeks and a hundred fifty miles.

New Injectors
Were they hard to put in? Any special tools? I have a set coming and intend to do them myself. I just did my own vp and fass one fifty. Are they as easy as that? I should adjust or check the valves while I'm In there too. Right?

One washer bumped it right up to seventeen. Tried two and got low nineteen. Took them both back out for now. Might try to get a fitted spring from that vendor who tried to take a half a day off, He probably needed it, or try some thinner washers or some combo. Got some mods comin, bahf, rv275, good head bolts, and an edge w/attitude big touch screen. What is this Taping the wire thing your talkin about? Does that part time vendor hAve it?

Is Vulcan Performance out of business?
Going to order rv 275, Bhaf, edge with attitude(unless you guys like another programmer) and some heavy duty head bolts tommorow. I got a small order from that guy last week and it was in new Mexico by 10 am the next day!! I sure am glad I found mopar mans site, and vendors like Vulcan, my truck is going to be in top notch form in no time.

I got some stuff from them just the other day. I called this morning too and got the same reply. That's to bad cause they have great prices.
