Truck is an 01 qclb, 4x4 5 speed with overload springs single rear wheels. Oh and tentative trailer is three axle. Do you guys think that will work? Injector replace
When I changed my injectors on my 01 the transfer tubes were emaclant!! When I did the ones on 02 last summer they were filthy with carbon build up all over. I should have probably changed them but they cleaned up nice. What would cause them to get so dirty?

On-board air
A friend of mine has front and back tube bumpers( about four inch steel tube two in front one in back) that he made. Old school smitty built style. Looks real good though. Anyway he had them plumbed into a belt driven compressor of some kind and had enough air to run a nail gun and had it plumbed into his air shocks too. It was slick.

Vacuum pump seal
You will know if you need one. Oil everywhere. But you don't have to lube your truck for a while.

Injector replace
I guess it's just the way I'm driving. I backed off throttle on take off and while shifting and doesn't smoke that bad. I still don't understand what the second number is on edge juice with attitude cts. What does raising and lowering the number do? Also I keep getting an over boost code but boost only goes to twenty seven or so. Other than that this truck is all good.

Injector replace
Smokes a lot with new injectors when under load when Boost from five to ten. Any idea why? I just did a 4500 mile trip and it has tons of power and does good on diesel considering the cold temps in Midwest. I know i probably need to change fuel Filter and water seperator on Fass one Fifty. Fuel pressure is at thirteen but doesn't budge at all. and i should have checked valve lash when doing injectors, but was in a hurry to get on road. I took the pre filter off bhaf to see if it smoked less and didn't help. Still smokes. It doesnt smoke when im up to speed though. Just when im rowing the gears. Truck has 94000 on it now. It's a 01 2500 qclb 4x4 edge comp jwa on 5x5, bhaf, rv 275, 5speed, pillar fuel psi, boost, egt. Hx 35. Four in. Straight pipe.

Raptor FRRP or FASS DDRP ?
I also hear as of late that the customer service is really good right now. He's down to help. Plus they are quiet but just loud enough on pre start that you know it's working.

Destroyed a turbo with a hose clamp
Don't you hate it when someone assumes your like them. But I think a lot of people on this site are like each other. We like to work on em and keep them running good, and that's how they treat us once in a while. Sorry mike. Selfishly though, I'm waiting to see what you do about it cause if I ever need to replace I'm doing what your doing. I'm sure you feel the pressure so make a good choice for us. Just kidding, but not really. Really though I'm sorry that happened.

Injector replace
Rv 275 in. Found it way easy to take heater hose and fitting off when removing valve cover. It only leaks a couple ounces of coolant and makes life way smoother also took her for a run and injectors feel good. These five speeds cook!! Thanks everyone. Good site.

Injector replace
Putting rv 275 in right now. Where is that thread that tells you how. Just need some torque specks for the injector holders. Little 5/16 nuts. Thanks

BHAF Question....
i have a bhaf on my 02. when i first put it on i cleaned the turbo real good. i just got an 01 with the $400 afe , took it off and the turbo was caked. i then pulled the bhaf of the 02 and turbo is still as clean as the day i cleaned it! i do run the pre filter cover though. its a long dusty road up here. i clean cover every oil change with air. filter has 20 k on it and is white as rice. oh afe is for sale, although i cant justify the price.

TWINS (not turbo)
i like my truck so much i got another one. its a 01 2500 qclb 4x4 5 speed, edge jwa, couple pillar guages, some kind of 400 dollar air box (going to change to a 30 $ bhaf just need to find stock boot), four inch turbo back, four inc lift (that has to go, might have questions about that) ,fass 150, 92000 miles. oh and looks pretty good all one color with a few small dings and scratches.i need to put a fuel guage in, why it doesnt have one with all the other mods the guy did i dont know, and new fuel filters in tommoro. so i should get good pressure to vp, but my very first question on this build is this,if i have 15 psi to vp, how do i know if the vp is healthy? is there a way to check a vp under my shade tree (with no leaves and icycles pointing at me. ya it gets cold in california too) then my next question would be how do i know what size the injectors are? if i remove one of them is there a code or a mark i can shout out to you guys and you will know? question 3, acording to the edge, the boost will read a couple psi less than the guage on the pod. whats up with that, and if you guys think the boost on the edje is ok, i would put the fuel pressure guage in the pod where the boost guage is.thats a good start, truck rips and doesnt feel dead at all, just want to cover the bases.

Work?
Its good to talk about issues at work. I spent my late teens and all my twentys working for guys like that. Plumbing. Production track jobs , commertial , industrial, clean rooms at ibm crazy customs, gas stations, wineries, etc. etc. i did it all. No service work, all new. So by the time i hit thirty my body was a wreck. I got a licence and went out on my own at thirty. I did real good for two or three years and then just couldnt go anymore. I had a little five man crew and we could do it all. Did hundred unit condos while also doing several customs fifteen thousand square feet or more. I would have up to twenty projects at any givin time up on test. I then hired ten to twenty more guys off and on and felt like my energy was all about what they needed and wasnt doing as well as i was with five guys. Anyway i feel like if i would have started out on my own at twenty five i could have nailed it. So what im sayin is jump in go on your own keep it small and retire at thirty five. Do your time learn your trade and hit it hard and hire people and treat them good and you will win cause your the good guy. I can call anyone who has ever worked for me my friend and they like me too. I cant stand a guy who thinks its ok to tell someone to do something they either have never done or wont do themselves. Seriously, jump in. You will win

Turbo plus exhaust
Ok im ready to go on a turbo and exhaust upgrade. As for the exhaust im thinking five inch straight out the back? Or is four inch better? The turbo part i have no clue. My egt is always real high. Like seven eight hundred just driving around. I seem to remember seeing a thread somewhere where someones turbo actually cooled down egts when it spooled up.Not looking for horsepower specifically, but ill take it. more for a cooler machine. Also do some towing but not alot. Thirty to fourty boost is enough for me.Current turbo is hy35 stock exhuastPlease let me know, i have the money but winters comin so i need to spend now before motocross starts and i waste money on another new bike

Mike is out firefighting so don't call him....
Have some fires here too. I was on a handline crew for half my twenties. Seems like when there was a fire we put it out as soon as posible. The owner of the crew i was on is here now with his. Crew. The pisfir willies ( forest service) are having all the ad crews and calfire stand by while they act like they are fighting it with backfires that they loose control of. Its a joke. There are twenty thousand men here who want to put it out. Propaganda!!! They want to burn us all out cause a couple hippies arr growing weed here.

Got a case 580 super l
Ya that would be awesome. When the machine roaches out ill give you the motor. But that wont be for another twenty thousand hours. The motor is sweet though. Has a little holset turbo and a mini bosch vp and mini fuel lines like our trucks. Tiny little lift pump. One filter. Would like to put a fuel pressure guage on it for funzies and treat this cummins motor like a cummins motor. Fass one fifty if needed. Bhaf. If its not to dusty under the hood. Hell maybe an edge comp and tap i wire! Joking but really its an animal

Got a case 580 super l
Ya its the turbo. It has 1800 hours and doesnt make a squeek. Except the fan belt chirp when you shut it down like all tight cummins motors. Im stoked. Also like i said the dodge did great!!
-
Got a case 580 super l
It has a four cyltnder cummins and it rips. I towed it from santa rosa ca. Two hondred mile to my place with my truck. Came with five buckets and a basket that attaches to extenda hoe. Appx weight of backhoe , buckets, trailer 30000 lbs. dodge did it no issue at all.

I like smog. But first I have to smog it.
Thats what im sayin mm. I ride alot of two strokes( hence my name and also new husaberg) and they pass out red stickers so you can only ride them certain times of year. I asked a head at dmv whats up and he broke out some govt. literature that says that my bike produces more smog than one hundred and fifty cars!!! Bs. Obviously bs. Really i run em clean and it smokes less than a prius.
