On a side note, I worked for an orient one summer and he found out I hunted bear. Thats when I found out they were worth something to them... Offered me $500 for it.. Little did I know... :banghead:

As well, be careful to know whether or not you would be legal taking a bear past hunting hours. They may still apply in a depredation kill... Best bet now, is to introduce him to the friendly fence... Maybe even try wrapping the trunk of the trees with barb wire to keep him from climbing....

The bear is dead... He got hit by a car last night about 9pm and fish and game put it down. Bear problem is solved for now...

Sorry to say I wasn't there when the bear got hit. The neighbor wa the one that knew about it and the accident. Oh well...
