2014 Deep Freeze

Woke up to -17*F about an hour ago.  Hasn't changed yet.  Wind is howling at 20-30mph also.

:hyper:  WAHOO! Got about 6-8 inches of snow now! Had to plow with the ATV about 2 hours ago. Got about 2 more inches since then!

Back to normal here in Florida... 70's with off and on rain... :doh: I was sooooooooooooooo enjoying the cooler weather!!!

Go north, they have all the cold to spare! :lol:

Yea, towards the end last night, the snow started turnin wet... Now its all starting to melt! :banghead:

Heat wave……………….up to 20*F at my house today……………….no sun, so my afternoon thermometer is accurate.

+12F here today!! It was -20F at about 4AM though.

Yeah, it was only -8*F at my ranch when I rolled out this AM.  Warmed up (relatively typing) faster today than the prior 3; and like I said in my prior post, it got up to 20*F today.

Well, we are sitting right at 10 above today. We received about 3 inches of that white stuff last night and the weather man is forecasting about another 6-8 inches by friday morning. As long as it stays above 0, I am all good!! Let the snow fly!!

You do realize YD that the longer you stay South of the Mason-Dixon line the "thinner" your blood becomes.  After a while you'll begin to think that water freezes at 60*F!!!

    Funny, I always thought it was the "California" of the plains states!!!! :duh:  :rolleyes:   Or is that what you meant by "banana belt"???

    We call any area that is warmer on average than the surrounding areas as "Banana belts".

     

    But yeah the left coast libs are moving in closer to home all the time.......... :ahhh:

    it's 7:00PM Monday evening and it's -10*F at my house as I type this!!  The weather "liars" are calling for -18*F down to -24*F depending on where you're at around here.  Got up to -4*F today at my house.

    My wood pile is  dwindling..   have to figure out how to keep the frost off my  puter screen  soon!

    -14*F as I type this and we are headed to about -27*F tonight. I guess I will find out how well my '12 TDI will start at that temp. with no heater on it. I also read in today's paper that this is now the second COLDEST winter on record here and the next 10 days have zero days with the low above zero...... DAMN, I am tired of the cold......
