  2. My turbine housing is cracked/frozen and needs to be replaced. While I have the turbo apart, is it worth drilling through the center section of the turbine housing to wastegate the first 3 cylinders? Any downside? Thanks guys maybe it's gate the last 3 cylinders

Do we have an updated chart if fluids that reflect improvements since our trucks were built? Like my owners manual from 2001 recommends ATF+3. And it seems that ATF+4 is now recommend. Be nice to have a consolidated chart for all fluids that reflect current advances in fluid technology.

Hi happy to be on this forum I got a 98.5 stock tranny just recently installed a cold air intake 4inch straight exhaust new exhaust manifold edge juice with attitude and a 95gph fass titanium I was wondering what brand and how big the injectors can be I'm in need of some injectors. I do know I need to upgrade tranny but I want to do that later. I use my dodge for daily driving and sometimes to have fun and race.

hey guys and gals, im sure this topic has been beaten to death on here but i have been debating on this 5th gear nut fix for some time that fithgearrepair.com offers. I have right around 286,xxx on my nv4500 and i installed a new clutch at 160,xxx only cause the release bearing was shot, my fault really, i catch myself rollin down the road with my foot resting on the clutch pedal . With that said, i pull my 21ft nash bumper pull all over the western states and rarely pull in 5th unless i'm on a nice straight stretch going across nevada. There are a lot of claims that if your retaining nut hasn't slipped off yet, it will. ultimatly loosing 5th gear. Would it be wise as a …

This morning I started my truck and I am sitting a very nice 18psi at idle and 15.5psi at WOT, nothing wrong here just normal everyday stuff. Temp outside is 68*F around 2pm Just now I went to the corner store and I started my truck, mind you there is not hard start, and I noticed the fuel pressure is sitting at 12psi at idle and 10.5psi at WOT(for a very short run). Now the only conditions that have changed is the weather. It is currently 9:15pm outside and the temp is 30*F. Now I am hoping this is just because the temp difference is such a drastic change that the fuel is thicker? I also have a little less than a 1/4 tank in the truck. Is my fuel pressure this l…

I have a Fass 95 pulling off the factory basket and recently installed an Edge Juice w/ Attitude. My fuel pressure bounces all over the place. From 10 to 23 psi on the CTS monitor. Edge has replaced there senor 2 times and no change. I did the 5 gal bucket test today and psi is all over the place. Truck runs good from what I can tell. The gauge bounces at idle and wot. I had a snubber on it but it didn't help at all. Is it possible that I still have a bad senor? I have not checked with a mechanical gauge yet. Anybody have any thoughts??

my airdog frrp lasted about 2000 miles this summer, so I put the newer stock carter on it just to get by. 2 weeks ago I posted a myriad of cold start problems, either fuel, fuel delivery, or just too dang cold issues. So, besides lucking out with a break in that cold snap, replacing filter, and dumping in more #1 and conditioner, I noticed the carter was not sounding very healthy too. For this go round, I put on a Fass drp 02. I got it bolted up, blue line cut to length, banjo fittings pressed in, and proceeded to 'blindly' cut the flex line for the addition of the supplied suction filter. I …

  11. We did it yesterday. Only lost one SS lock nut down between the coolers & the bumper.

  12. I just installed my Edge Juice w/ Attitude and I am wondering how I can check to make sure I have the pump wire tapped properly. I don't want to run my JWA like an EZ. I wanted to go with the Stealth plate but I was already getting an earful about the money spent on the JWA so I just did the Posi-tap. Can I unplug the module and check the voltage at the harness if I trace the wire? Should I just put a stealth plate on, try to seal the pump wire back up and not have to ever worry about it again? There doesn't seem to be a good place to check the voltage with the posi-tap like their is with the stealth plate. Sorry if this is repeat post. This has probably been asked a lot…

I have a 2201 3500 with 24v. I have an antifreeze leak that is showing up in the passenger wheel well. There is a 2" spray pattern all the way across the liner like the tire is spraying it up there. The engine compartment is dry. There is 1 steel line that runs across the fender in the engine compartment but all connections or joints are dry. Although I have not removed the foil tape that is on them, but no signs of leaking or water marks. Could the heater core be leaking? If it was would it be wet in the cab or shouldn't I smell it? Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Some of you will remember my thread on my engine over cooling problem that turned out to be the gauge reading improperly. It got worse some time after that and started affecting the way the truck ran. I am going to be tearing into it pretty soon and want to see if any you might have experienced anything like this or just have some suggestions. At the time I was lucky to see the low 170's on the gauge. As long as it stayed there every thing worked fine but some times it would drop into the high 160's and the Banks chip would start operating weakly. The low 160's and it got worse and the gauges(pyro and boost)would act up a little. Some times it would drop into the 150's an…

Was at a camping world a while ago and gave it some thought. If I'm gonna pick one of these up, which one should I be getting? Looks like everyone has the SGII. But why do they make the diesel then? http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/scangauge-ii/55455 http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/scangauge-diesel/61464

  18. My Husband and I purchased our truck in early 2007 as his work vehicle (he was a custom home builder) and needed to be able to haul trailers/ materials etc.At the time I drove a new Subaru Outback, which we ended up selling fairly quickly bc of major electrical problems, and replaced with an 02 GMC Yukon that one of my insurance clients had purchased brand new and basically hadn't used bc he drove his work truck and really only bought the Yukon so he could write off his truck? I am not sure... anyhow he sold it to us with only 20K mile on it in 09 now the yukon has 140k on it and the tranny blew... I could rebuild it as I did our truck last winter however I am just not th…

I saw some oil drips on the road when I wet to the post office this morning. Looked under my truck (just to make sure it wasn't me) and to my surprise I had a big puddle under my truck. Had about 40 miles since I changed paper. The clamp came loose and popped off and oil was coming out between the can and base. Limped home and tried to tighten the filter, but it seems that it had expanded with oil and pressure. Would not re-seal. So I installed a new roll and now seems to be fine. But now I'm paranoid about it starting to leak again on a long trip leg and pumping out all the oil. Any words of wisdom? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
