    I want to install a Krantz paper tissue filter on my 2002 5.9 diesel dually. Can anyone tell me if the plugged second hole on top of present oil filter housing can be used for oil supply to the Krantz. I plan on using the oil filler cap with mod to return the oil to the engine. Any info on this topic would help Thanks Tom

  2. I've had 2 NAPA thermostats fail since the first of the year. Just wondering if anyone knows of any particular reason why they could be failing aside from poor quality in the first place and what others are using Cummins or aftermarket?

    So now that I have my fuel system upgraded, I am going to be putting in 75 hp nozzles. My injectors seem to be good, plenty of power, 22 mpg empty, so my question is can I send my injectors out and just have the nozzles replaced and them pop tested and adjusted? From the sounds of it, when people buy new injectors for their trucks they send in the old injectors for core deposit, so I am assuming that the old ones are rebuilt and sold to someone else. Some time this week I am hoping to get into town to a diesel shop to drop the injectors and tips off, so I guess that I am hoping that this will work and I can get a few more ponies out of the Ram.     I got a raptor 150 showin up any day now, AFE blade runner on order, and am planning to go with an hx40 and 150 horse injectors. Was wondering what u guys thot of th combo together with my juice and what my estimated power cud be. Someday I hope to crack 650hp:tongue:

    Hi guys/gals, I have installed a PowerPuck, boost fooler and a boost elbow. I have been adjusting the set screw on the elbow but it seems the 25 or 27 is the most boost I can get. Is 25 - 27 psi the most an HX35 will put out?Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    GuysOnce your truck is up to operating temps - ~190 ..... and you stop for any reason. Pop the hood and put your hand on the compressor cover of the turbo.How warm/hot ??? curious.thx:thumbup2:

    warming up its time to do new injectors been tossed up between 100 s and rv 275s think im settled on the rv 275s been researching all the forums and my trucks fast enough i think so i just want the mpgs should i change cross over tubes while im in there gonna do valves adjustment also still only getting around 14-16 around town gonna max out tire pressure and empty the bed out see if i cant get the mpgs up a little thinking dap or listening for ideas?

    getting ready for a set of new injectors looking at rv 275s or maybe some 100 hp ones from contagious diesel any thoughts as far as what else to change while im in there feed tubes and o rings? im a little sceered i read some horror stories on the forums about the truck not running right after injector upgrades

    hi all, reecenty registered guy been reading a lot to keep the questions to a min. but i know this is a big question so thanks in advance for any advice. i have a 01 dodge 24v 4x4 auto with 210,000 mi all stock except for a new edge ez, BHAF, replaced the vp fuel pump around 100,000mi ago, other than than its just been maintaince. im looking to get better performance when towing my new to me 9000 lbs toy hauler. i know i need guages asap, after that thinking 4" turbo back exhaust, injectors?     I need 4 new ball joints and 4 new tie rod ends at 65,000 miles. About 20,000 miles is carrying a 3,000 lb camper on the back. Could that do it? It's unbelievable to me too.Anyone ever heard of that before?

    i've decided i need to wake the truck up again but would like to do it on a budget. i'd add affordable 100 or 125 hp sticks pry from dap, cpp, or fbd (i've heard mixed reviews from sdx). then keep the box turned down and take it easy til i do an aftermarket exhaust manifold and turbo upgrade. my ? is would it be worth it to take my stock turbo and turn it into an hx40/35 hybrid or should i save my $ and go with a 62/65 or something similar later down the road. i was also curious what egts i may see with the hybrid and how i would know if i'm getting into drive pressure trouble or not? truck is mostly a dd and i'm sure a clutch upgrade will be in the not too distant fu…

    ok got to quiet down the beast the wife complains openly and I know the neighbors under there breath and got pulled over last week [no ticket] so thats that 3 strikes I guess been looking at hushpower and also this 30 inch fte resonator any thoughts? ps I have the mbpr muffler in there but its just a flow through
