There was a collective sphincter shudder as the potus was sworn in... Not sure, but it probably registered 4.3 on the Richter Scale...Mike, is there a tasteful emoticon to add to the list... that would show this phenomenum?

The gfi outlet I have looks like its controlling the light and also a lower receptacle directly tied in. I want to add a exhaust fan. I don't think I can re-wire this cleanly over my head .... But .. if I'm happy for fan to always be on with light can I just Splice directly into the line going to the light. Eg Cut existing line - now have 2 blacks 2 white and 2 ground Have new line for exhaust comming from exhaust. 1 black 1 white 1 ground. Tie off black x 3 Together Tie off white x3 together Tie off ground wires x.3 together That's it .... ???

Havent really talked much about it on here but was just wondering how many of you are into trail riding? (dirt bikes, atv,s, side x sides, etc) I grew up on dirt bikes and quads. Had a handful of 125 2 strokes, but mostly 4 stroke bikes. I also had a 86 250r quad and a lt 250 quad racer. My wild days are over (have 2 kids to think about now) but I still get a thrill out of being on one. In 2005 I sold off my last sport bike and bought a new Honda Rincon 650. Its been an awesome machine. Its alot bigger than my old sport quads but not as big as alot of the monster utility quads theyve got out there today. Its like the best of both worlds for me. I can still push it if I wa…

Well in case some of you didn't notice I have been gone for the week, I was at a "Failure Analysis" class at a Caterpillar training facility this week.Although it was put on by Cat it is a general course that can be used to troubeshoot anything made of metal, we had parts from many other Brands of engines and equipment as well. All I can say is WOW!!!! I wish I had the knowledge learned at this class 20 years ago at the start of my wrenching career instead of the tail end of it.Taught us a lot about metalurgy and being able to look at any kind of part and be able to tell WHY it failed from from several different objective angles. This was the first class there is another a…

Sooo I might not be in college much longer. In october I was in the hospital for this reoccuring heart issue that they never have an answer to but gladly charge $12,000 for. I end up forking $1,500 of it. Well it happened the past April as well so thats $3,000 total. This last time it happened at home and we went to the hospital and they decided to take me by ambulance all the way back here and that was another $400. The issue is just that something infects my heart for about 30 minutes and makes it seem like I'm having a heart attack. Doctors don't have a clue so they say I can sit in the hospital for months until it happens again, constantly monitoring me (what a …

He writes: My lead flight attendant came to me and said, "We have an H.R. On this flight." (H.R. Stands for human remains.) "Are they military?" I asked. > > 'Yes', she said. > > 'Is there an escort?' I asked. > > 'Yes, I've already assigned him a seat'. > > 'Would you please tell him to come to the flight deck. You can board him early," I said.. > > A short while later, a young army sergeant entered the flight deck. He was the image of the perfectly dressed soldier. He introduced himself and I asked him about his soldier. The escorts of these fallen soldiers talk about them as if they are still alive and still with us. > > 'My so…

I'm still working on all this so it's a mess but you can see some things amidst it haha. On the very right hand side (injection crap) the first column is my truck and the second column is variables if my truck had 50% efficiency. Bigger engines are pulling off 50-60% efficiency...so its not impossible! Now the issues I'm running into is I have no way of knowing the HP of my truck based on mpg and other things. Just because I get XX mpg doesn't tell me anything as to how much power it takes to go 60mph even if I stayed at that speed the entire time. You might think it sounds easy enough if I used BTU content but I have no clue knowing how efficient the engine is …

Thought this might be something from your old marine days and you could give some advice to him on a farymann engine in a sailboat. Here is a link to another diesel site. I myself had never heard of this brand of engine. http://www.midwestdieselconnection.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6564

I'll be involved in a Mass Causality Event training with both Idaho County Search & Rescue and Salmon River Rural Fire Dept. So grab both sets of gear and haul out to the training site tomorrow. As far as I know of its involving 3 counties (Adams, Idaho, and Valley Counties) then going to have EMS, Police, Search & Rescue, Fire, and a few other agencies there too. So its going to be a big event. I'll see about grabbing my camera and taking it with me.
