Been riding all week and I decided to hydroplane across this huge water hole. It's about 100Ft long and 1-3ft deep. I tested several shallower areas to get the feel for it since I have never tried a water hole that long. I do this with the bike topped out which is over 80mph so I don't exactly want to screw up Of course, all hell broke loose and the back end got to tail whipping which at 80+ is not good and it whipped harder and harder until throwing me off the bike and who knows what happened after that. I don't remember hitting the ground or seeing the bike hit the ground. I didn't get wet though, so I made it!! The resulting damage... Start with the…

  3. This is our annual re-enactor's Rendezvous. Because of my disability, we have decided to just set up a primitive "day camp" but it is safer for me to sleep in a camper in the parking lot. The camp was winding down... a lot of folks left after the weekend & more bugged out when they got word of a storm coming. Probably down to a couple of hundred from ~500. After those going home had left, we pulled the truck into the primitive camp area & our neighbors helped us get out canvas tents down & into the vehicles safely. We were in the camper when wave after wave of squalls hit us. We had hail twice... about the size of small marbles. Our camp neighbor wa…

  8. She tried something new... and I have to say I'm impressed. I had bought some 3M abrasive pads at a Job Lot place... of course she couldn't use a worn out one! LOL! So she fits it to a plastic container & soaks it with water & puts seed peas on it. We like pea greens in salads (gotta have my rabbit food!) So these things took off, sitting on the kitchen window ledge. They are up about 4" in about a week. I'm not a gardener, but I'm really impressed with this...Russ

Second Opinion! The doctor said, 'Joe, the good news is I can cure your headaches. The badnews is that it will require castration. You have a very rare condition, which causes your testicles to press onyour spine and the pressure creates one hell of a headache. The only way torelieve the pressure is to remove the testicles.'Joe was shocked and depressed. He wondered if he had anything to live for. He had nochoice but to go under the knife. When he left the hospital, he was withouta headache for the first time in 20 years, but he felt like he was missingan important part of himself. As he walked down the street, he realizedthat he felt like a different person. He could make …

I'm so pissed off right now!! I get home from work and realize my truck is not where I last parked it. I run in the house hoping to see my extra key gone and maybe my brother has it, or my mom or my dad. To my misfortune, they are here... I filed a police report and now sit here and wonder, where could it be and who's the *ucking slob that has my truck!! That truck was my everything, I just hope I get her back in one piece...

They are all on the side of Crowleys Ridge, but I have several neighbors homes who are flooded and my heart goes out to them! They haven't gotten most of their belongings it, it's just they basically lost their homes!!! The road as of right now is better than 3 ft deep and it's not supposed to crest till near wednesday! After several days I finally got my parents to evacuate today! That took alot of effort to get them to leave their home of 27 yrs!

  20. Sooo after today's deluge I went out... found window track overflowed onto ledge... I mopped it up. I probably should have left the track full so I could have seen if it drained when I went outside & probed the drains with a flat blade. But they seemed to be open?! WTF?? I just don't get it. Maybe I need magnification & more light to inspect more closely... Maybe I could pour water back into track to test it... but if it still doesn't drain, I have no clue why.
