The bicture is a little blurry but, so was I at 6 am I arrived here in Lexington @ 10:30 PM last night!! Yabba ran well and averaged 19.59 on first fill up @ 70mph 2250 rpm. (I normally keep it around 63-65mph and 2000rpm but I just wanted to get to my Aunt and Uncles and spend a little time with them before I go to the music festival for the week... They live 2 hours north of the venue and I won't be able to come back till Oct)

Well there has been some changes to life for me. Like I got called to do a computer job for a local mechanic to set up his OBDII scan tool with a update. While I was there I started talking shop and did a bit of diesel talk too. Needless to say he was rather impressed. So I deal with it and get the owner moving on again. Now the mechanic calls me up and ask me to come in and deal with a school bus (With a Cummins 6BT) that has a charging issue. Mike, saw that you called tonight. Was at work, like usual, lol. Must have seen I left you a message. Got it figured out. I guess I got on the skinny pedal too much and hit some good boost. Blew the intercooler boot after the turbo. Not the typical sound I was expecting to hear so I was somewhat distraught by it. Had a hissing rapid decompression type noise, lol. Got it fixed though. 11mm socket! ..time to buy the newer better boots to prepare for my turbo swap...

My son was in a motorcycle accident on the 4th of July. He's still in the hospital. Nothing broken, but a lot of road rash. He can't come home due to the amount of open wounds. Goin to need skin grafts. Bad situation. Mother told him she didn't want to get a motorcycle. The dreaded 3am call from the authorities. Life flighted to hospital. He should make a full recovery, but probably will have scars. His face is pretty bad. Check out that chunk of meat missing from his left elbow. They had to change the dressing today which has a vac pump to keep swelling down. Even with morphine brought tears to his eyes. There is like a sponge covering the wound and clear tape over that …

Who has the best all-around 1 ton diesel truck? Looking to upgrade my 24v to something new. Gmc/Chevy, dodge or ford and why. For the price difference would it be worth just getting a gasser?

Been entertaining the thought of going up to the North Dakota oil fields and getting a driving job. I'm wondering if any of you know anything about whats going on up in North Dakota.

Last Winter I ordered a Bad Boy AOSD 7200. It finally arrived just before Thanksgiving. I finally got a chance to put that monster to work and WOW!!!!!! It is a grass cuttin' HAUS!!! I don't have any pics of it yet but will soon. In the mean time if you are not sure what model Bad Boy I am talking about take a look here: http://www.badboymowers.com/bad-boy-shop/lawn-mowers/diesel-lawn-mower I have already put 50 hours on it and done the first engine oil and hydraulic oil change. That Caterpillar engine is really efficient with fuel. Burns less than a gallon per hour.

What do you guys do with a neighbor that shoots off guns after 11:00pm. He keeps doing it but waits till you are about to sleep again, approx. 20-30 mins, and then shoots off another. He does this fairly often, they are about 2-3 acres away. This guy used to be a real idiot but after his mom died in her sleep he inherited the place and is being an idiot again. What would you guys do?

When I flip my tow mirrors up I can't get the mirror to power up far enough to see out of it comfortably. I want to level this truck, and that is going to make this problem worse. Any one know how to fix this so the mirror tilts up higher? These are power mirrors

Going to be headed there for a few days tagging along with my wife who is going on a business trip. Anything we should see or do in the short time we will be there? I don't know how much play time we will have though which is the hard part of planning any extra activities on this trip.
