My son was in a motorcycle accident on the 4th of July. He's still in the hospital. Nothing broken, but a lot of road rash. He can't come home due to the amount of open wounds. Goin to need skin grafts. Bad situation. Mother told him she didn't want to get a motorcycle. The dreaded 3am call from the authorities. Life flighted to hospital. He should make a full recovery, but probably will have scars. His face is pretty bad. Check out that chunk of meat missing from his left elbow. They had to change the dressing today which has a vac pump to keep swelling down. Even with morphine brought tears to his eyes. There is like a sponge covering the wound and clear tape over that …

Who has the best all-around 1 ton diesel truck? Looking to upgrade my 24v to something new. Gmc/Chevy, dodge or ford and why. For the price difference would it be worth just getting a gasser?

Been entertaining the thought of going up to the North Dakota oil fields and getting a driving job. I'm wondering if any of you know anything about whats going on up in North Dakota.

Last Winter I ordered a Bad Boy AOSD 7200. It finally arrived just before Thanksgiving. I finally got a chance to put that monster to work and WOW!!!!!! It is a grass cuttin' HAUS!!! I don't have any pics of it yet but will soon. In the mean time if you are not sure what model Bad Boy I am talking about take a look here: http://www.badboymowers.com/bad-boy-shop/lawn-mowers/diesel-lawn-mower I have already put 50 hours on it and done the first engine oil and hydraulic oil change. That Caterpillar engine is really efficient with fuel. Burns less than a gallon per hour.

What do you guys do with a neighbor that shoots off guns after 11:00pm. He keeps doing it but waits till you are about to sleep again, approx. 20-30 mins, and then shoots off another. He does this fairly often, they are about 2-3 acres away. This guy used to be a real idiot but after his mom died in her sleep he inherited the place and is being an idiot again. What would you guys do?

When I flip my tow mirrors up I can't get the mirror to power up far enough to see out of it comfortably. I want to level this truck, and that is going to make this problem worse. Any one know how to fix this so the mirror tilts up higher? These are power mirrors

Going to be headed there for a few days tagging along with my wife who is going on a business trip. Anything we should see or do in the short time we will be there? I don't know how much play time we will have though which is the hard part of planning any extra activities on this trip.

On my 2nd gen it's harder to slide on a typical filter wrench because of some hoses and things up near the bottom of the filter. Is there an open strap type filter wrench? Where once you get the strap around the filter, you simply clip the strap end to the handle? Sort of like a toolbox latch/clip or something? I know there are some on the market but would like to hear of the best ones out there. Tired of several times trying to squeeze mine back together and drop the bolt back in. It's not easy. Thank you all in advance

Have not seen or heard a peep from the man, wonder why? The guy has wifi at the motel! Maybe he needed a break? I would have figured he would have announced he was coming up here to see me and my side of the fence... Were meeting tomorrow, maybe I'll get some pics of this elusive creature.

  18. I have made my own Scotch Bright buffing pads for my Dremel for years using the mini-arbor for the tiny cut off wheels. I just cut circles from the pad I want to use & push the screw through the center with a washer on either side. I usually use a double thickness. It doesn't matter if they are exact because they quickly become rounded from wear. I've been known to use them until they've worn down to the washers like the reddish ones in the pictures. I have done this for years & is one of my most frequent Dremel uses. Moderators: I am duplicate posting so this doesn't get lost in the other topics. I'm putting in in General because I…

http://www.edmunds.com/car-reviews/features/no-go-for-standardized-tow-ratings.html Even if most pickup owners never actually tow anything, they still pay attention to how much trucks can tow. It's an unofficial litmus test of strength, durability and plain ol' bragging rights. The marketers of pickup trucks are all too aware of this. They have waged a seemingly never-ending arms race of tow ratings — particularly among the ultra-competitive Detroit Three automakers. But since every automaker defines the parameters of its own towing capacity tests, the temptation is always there to "exaggerate" a bit, especially if it means beating the competition's latest model by …

We got pounded last night again, and Weather Channel was present to document 'live'. I really have mixed feelings about these guys, and the way they present their findings On one hand, people can see first hand the destructiveness of tornadoes, and the seriousness of seeking shelter. On the other hand, there are waaaay too many 'wannabees' looking to be the next youtube phenom. last summer, a 'team' from WC was killed. Oh, It was such a 'tragedy', they played that out for a week! Duh, I was taught as a baby to seek shelter! Last night, Stanton, Ne. and Pilger Ne. were…
