Hey fellas. Need your input! I'm not very knowledgable in the agricultural section and need some advice. My FIL has done some work like this before but it has faded from his memory more than he likes. I'm probably late on doing this, but I think it should still work out. We've got about 10 acres of pasture here and for the past couple years have let our horses, cows graze off of what is presently growing. We did not want to do much to the field as its a rental and we also did not want to sit out a year for turning the field. My FIL recommended doing a harrow and I was able to find a drag for an ATV. I planned on picking it up today along with a spreader. My intent…

Has anyone heard from Dripley? If you remember, he was going home to celebrate his birthday with his family after 3/6. I had Michael place a call to him, but there has been no response. Looking out from the family members....a concerned Moparmom.

Plenty of tread left, but the date code is 5006 so I guess it's time to replace the old Michelins. This happened at 75mph, and fortunately the lady tailgating me in the Miata with the top down didn't get behind me for several miles. :o Ripped the trailer wiring adapter out of the taillight harness and a piece of the tire came up and cracked the lens pretty good. Fender is salvageable but only with a lot of work. Rest of the bed will need lots of hammering to make right. If anybody in central Florida has a line on a decent dually bed for a good price, I'm listening!

I've seen "MPG chips" advertised which only plug into the IAT on the vehicle... essentially an expensive resistor. I easily built an IAT fooler for my 01.5 CTD. Why not for other vehicles? If IAT is so critical (getting the onboard computer to lean out the mix) why not alter the vehicle's intake from a CAI (my 97 Cirrus intake snorkel pokes through the radiator support frame.) A simple alteration / baffle would have it sucking underhood air. Or go to an ITA fooler harness like the Cummins. This is my daily driver & gets decent MPG in good weather but loses excessive miles in cold weather. I have emailed Caspers again for an extension harness to start from…

How not to do it!!!!!! First of all; to run the "thimble" thru a window without proper support, and you cannot see it in the picture, but the horizontal section is pitched downward to the vertical chimney!!!! OMG!!!! I can't imagine how this thing is set up on the inside........ Darwin award nominee perhaps???

Yea... As of this morning I'm packing up and heading for California to pick up a new truck for our Fire Dept here. So I'll be gone for 3 days roughly and leaving MoparMom here at home to try and keep the site rolling. I've pack my laptop so I can attempt to check on site when I can. But anyone looking for support I'll be gone for 3 days so you'll have to grab support from others staff or members till I return.

My wife has a Juicer that was sometimes take camping, it's has a simple low-off-high switch and a 850W motor, and runs fine off the Honda 2000 Generator and shore power. My mom has the same juicer and it wouldn't run on my dad's Honda 3000 or Honda 5500 generators so he installed a Xantrex 1500w inverter and it works flawlessly. This week I tried running our juicer off of our inverter, same model Xantrex 1500w that my dad has. It only works on the outlet closest to the inline transfer relay/inverter. On any of the other 110V outlets it just buzzes when you turn the switch on (and there is no amp draw). If I hook up shore power the juicer works flawless off any of…

OK, all you wood burners out there, WTF is going on here. Wood store is an antique 1890-1910 King circulator an oval upright barrel of red Russian iron (so called) with cast iron top, bottom, door. Our pipe goes up one (3') section of 6" pipe & elbows to the left for 4 sections (all riveted together) where it goes into a masonry chimney through a round liner thimble. Last year, the dampers stripped out so the handle would spin but the damper plate was jammed closed. This year, my wife complained about my closing down the dampers but since she's lugging wood & tending the fire (I have trouble with my legs on the stairs so if she wants to be in charge so be it…

I got flamed on a Toyota site... some guy bought a used engine, and getting it home he popped off the valve cover... He was just wanting to do a compression test, on-the-ground.. before installing it into his truck. I only expressed my idea.. of the cam(s) being in the state they are... spinning the engine NOW is not a good idea! I'm no metallurgist,.. but can anyone else see a problem here? Just about everyone on that site said...."Just fill it up with clean oil, and run it!".... Cripes. The OP was only concerned with the 'milkshake' that is evident on the cam hold down bolts!!!! What happened to common sense?

Hope this isn't a silly question, but, is it possible to fly a 777 out into orbit? What happens if you just let it climb as high as it can go? Wouldn't it get lost in space? Hope you guys don't beat me up too bad on this one but, a news search shows nothing along those lines being talked about.

Help me out guys quick, I think my PC is dying. It gave blue screen of death this a.m. and took me several attempts of restarting it to get it to come to life again. This unit came in with the complaint of oil in the coolant. After further inspection it was determined two kinds of coolant were mixed in and ran forever. This stuff is like gelatin and is packed in every cooling passage you could think of. Day two of flushing is started and its still pushing gunk out.

My brother is under his train engine trying to disconnect the drive chain so he can service the gear box. I'm thinking he needs to relieve tension on the link he's trying to pull. Ideas? Is there a tool? He has photos on FB. Appears to be some curve to the chain (slack) but I can't copy the pictures. Plymouth DDT narrow gauge switcher, 6-71 power.
