I'm wanting to adjust my valves tomorrow and tried finding the procedure here.  All I'm finding is for 12 valve engines.  Is it the same for the 24?  If there's an article on it I guess I missed it...

First off do not stick anything in the nipple of the crankcase vent to gain leverage. It will cause damage and break the nipple. Second it's a standard thread item so twist it counter-clockwise

  •       In the engine section, but not in a subsection.

  • It has threads just spin it off.

How do I get the crank case breather off so I can check for TDC? Does it just pull off? I don't see any type of fastener holding it on.

Got the job done! At least 120000 km since it was last done and very little adjustment was needed.

Too late for me.. lol. I used it to gain leverage. Everything else went smoothly tho :-)  btw.. I used an oil filter wrench and rubber jar lid gripper after I broke it ;-)
