Since @Me78569 and company have the tuning thread for performance side. I'm going to start the ecomony and MPG thread for the Quadzilla Adrenaline. I'll be posting up my MPG logs and all data I can provide of what I've got going on. I've been keeping hand math logs of all fuel purchased as well as my tablet running OBDII link LX and data logging from that direction too. I'll share my tunes and settings as well.

I've learned a lot so far.    Light Throttle Load Limit (Percent) - Mopar1973Man Suggested Setting 25%   This value should be built around the 65 MPH speed on flat ground. That is

Now that I've returned to the wiretapped crowd now I can see the difference between CANBus only o Wiretap. Of course, the power is way better tapped but I want to find out if I can reach higher like I

Guys,

I am so far behind right now. I have found where the app updates are in the download section. However, where/how do we download the tunes that are posted? Do we need to plug the Quad into the compute like when we are updating it? Also, how can we post our tunes? Is there an export feature that I have missed in my absence? I am currently using a Samsung galaxy tab for the guages, do i download the tunes from the website onto that in the Quad app? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Going on a road trip today and would like to do some testing.

Thank you,

JD

The import / export app is still in beta and is not publicly released yet.  It is coming very soon.

I cant seem to find my way back to the logs of the tunes. The ones with the full data builds. I think I have gotten past my iQuad issues. Can you link me back to it?

Here's the 4k base tune

Here is the thread with our tune variables

Your tune settings will be a bit different since you are 4k.  added stretch and rpm limit, 2 more timing variables.

Again MANY MANY thanks to @Me78569, Super solid guy! If I get a chance to meet him in person I owe him a Beer.

I have good friends in Palo Iowa and Vinton haha.  You might have to some time.

I'm Minutes away from those places, just let me know and Ive got the first couple rounds.

@Me78569 Hey man, The tune repository is a great idea! can you give me a quick run down on the latest flash? any new features since the March Flash? Sorry Ive been off a while got divorced and all.

I can't remember that far back.

Honestly the only real big change is that "cruise timing" is now "light throttle timing"  it works based on load.  If load is under X% ( whatever that tuning variable is) then you get your base map, plus light throttle timing * load / 100   It has netted me a good bit more city mpg and much more reliable cruising mpg when in situation other than flat ground.

other than that some basic bug fixes that were hard to even consider bugs.

@Mopar1973Man I’m curious as to what level you are running your mpg tune on? Also do you still have 50hp injectors or did you change?

Currently I'm running level 3 being I'm not wire tapped yet. I'm also running +75 HP injectors (7 x 0 0085). Also no longer running the stock turbo (54/60/12) I'm running HX35/40 (60/60/12). Soon I'll tap the pump and go back to level 7. I'm currently producing a look alike tune that mimics Edge Comp. I'm close.

What level are you seeing your best mpg at? I’ve tried level 2-6 and I still can’t get a very good mpg. I’m currently getting 14-15. I’ve based my tune off of your old tune that you were getting 20mpg out of.

level 2 + should all give nearly the same mpg as timing is what makes mpg good or bad,  all levels above 2 use the same timing.

Crusing at 75

Here is my current tune that I’m running. Note my mpg wasn’t set when these pics were taken so it isn’t accurate C6C61E82-8229-4300-968B-9BB27A8D112E.jpeg.caa4639b67bbd05231d216da3052b1e6.jpegD68A0918-9906-4324-A798-B215768185AB.jpeg.2f3e81b3b4d8f0d0c6c2b403d4626967.jpeg9BAB62FB-9162-4781-89A6-28F7A631FBFC.png.bea8a3cdb9d4d5892245009a339c1dbd.png

so your light throttle limit is set to 30%, so you wont be getting high timing unless engine load is below that %30 mark.  In both of those shots it was above that.

You should be wanting ~23* of timing at 75.

change your light throttlr timing limit to %40 and see what happens. I am betting mpg will jump signicantly.

I am guessing you have stock injectors?

Yup stock injectors. I read earlier somewhere on the page that going over 30% was not recommended so I’ve just been setting it to 30%.
