Well, was crawling around under the truck installing my Timbren's noticed two holes in the exhaust. Maybe a BB size hole in a couple of the welded seams. Is this something I should change out sooner then later? Or would I be good waiting until I get around to it?

5" and muffler should be perfect.  My truck with the 4" and the muffler is very, very quiet in the cab.  Not outside though!

What muffler do you use? I'm thinking that's what I'd go with too. 5in with maybe a 51' Donaldson.

I have the Mangaflow muffler.  Not sure of the length but it's a straight through design.

Says the guy with no 5" experience. They can still drone horribly with a muffler.

I had 1995 with 5" exhaust that was so bad with drone right at 65 MPH that you needed ear plugs to be on the highway. You could not speak or talk to a passenger till you dropped down to about 53 MPH. So I ditched the exhaust and put in a Diamond Eye 4" with flow through muffler now it's just as quiet as my truck with 3".

12v has a muffler.  24v did not.
