Hey guys sorry to bring this up again! I have searched and haven’t found answers to my questions! So I would like to upgrade my stock headlights. I have ruled out hids because of price and all. I think I would like to do the sport light upgrade. I need someone to post a link to lights they have bought and love!! I’m looking for smoked stockbstyle headlights but don’t have to have them. Now my question is if I do this swap is it completely plug and play? If inget a Geno,s Britebox is this goin to work well with this setup? Thanks guys!!

I found a sport wiring harness and britebox together at Genos has anyone used this ? Is it good quality? If I get that all I will need is housings and bulbs correct?

Yeah by the way you guys are a bad influence on me spending money, but I can't wait to be able to see.... early Christmas is what I told my wife. Now I'm anxious to work on my truck again.

@Me78569 once I figure out my cracked head situation and she can move under her own power I will do so:thumb1:

Will do, may be a few weeks.

@Dieselfuture any of the one piece housings should work for you. I would look for one that has adjustment so you can fine tune them.

So I got all the parts except the bullet shroud does not fit inside housing, too big around and I had to order apollo2 flat that Mike has with his d2s. My question is for high/low my harness came with brown/white wire that is not in the plug 9006 that it came with, I got to put that in and before I do it backwards any one has a picture maby, thanks.

Edit. I think I'm asking about wrong wires, as I'm looking at instructions on line it says it doesn't matter how you plug them in its only powering silinoid for hi/low. I haven't got to the plug that originally plugs into old bulb yet. Still learning....

Edit. So hi/low to get it right, need to switch white and brown in morimoto harness.

Look closely you'll notice they just took the shroud and sanded it on a belt sander.

@Mopar1973Man here is what they look like, are you saying you can see where they sanded flat part even more to where there is a hole? If so I guess I can just make my bullet shrouds work, just was under impression apollo2 flat stile fits right in :ahhh:apollo_2.0_projector_retrofit_shrouds_2_1_1.jpg.f71587283790e37181f63fd9dde6ef22.jpg

Edit. Now that you said hat I think I can see a hole right through the shroud, aaaaaahhh, I think I'm going nuts.... next time will be listening to my wife and just by a complete set, NOT.... lol.

So, ..... I love mine, if you're patient you can try doing d2s if not get h1. Both will be better than anything else out there.

One thing I thought I had figured out is couple of pins that need to be switched around for high/low to work properly, whell that part works but when I turn fogs on by pulling out switch it will turn my high beam on  and even by switching hi/low it will keep highs on until I push in the switch for fog lights in. @Mopar1973Man guessing need to move pins around some more? If you ever close to your plug can you take a picture of it?

I stand corrected... Thank you for the find...

I had to cut off about a1/4" on top side to make em fit in, just to clarify for anyone else looking at apollo 2 flat shrouds. And my original bullet shrouds I was going to use were too tall and would of hit the lenses or been right up next to them.

Sounds like you got one of the pins. I had to try a couple combos to make mine work correctly.
