Blower will work fine then stop ,checked fuses ,new motor 

When you replaced the blower motor did you replace the blower resistor too? If the resistor is failing then the motor will start and stop randomly as the resistor heats and cools. 

Yeah, mine was doing the same thing, new motor and resistor and no problems since.

I replaced my blower motor about 4 yrs ago and all speeds except low work. I didn;t think about replacing the resistor to fix that. However, I like the lowest setting to be an actual off position.

Is it so you can still have vent position where you want and only air you get is pushed with speed of the truck? I kinda like that too, instead of having air blowing on my face even on low speed. Might add another toggle switch to keep blower off. My truck will be like an airplane soon, tons of switches and gauges lol.

 It is exactly like that. At first it kind of irritated me because it wasn't working as it should, but I like it now.

I at first did like bearly on or completely off feature. Kind of just got used to it. Then we got the wife a new Dakota and it had low and off on the fan and it bothered me again.

 

@Dieselfuture if you keep going you are going to make diagram of the switches just in case you have to loan your truck if there is an emergency. I can see it now, DF I need your truck!!! And DF responds OK, when can we do a preflite?

I would most likely change that up just slightly. I would use an SPDT switch. Compressor lead to the center contact, ground on one outer and then the other outer would have the HVAC dash switch lead. So in one position is factory mode (operates like it was designed) then the flip of the switch compressor is forced on regardless. Then if you do a center off styled switch then you would have forced off position as well. One toggle switch with so many capabilities.

Please shear the diagram and pictures when you're done. As of now I'm loving my on/off ac compressor switch that @IBMobile suggested.

Well that's what @IBMobile suggested I believe a 3 way on/off switch, but I just don't see any benefit of flipping it to factory  (normal) position, that's why I opted for just on/off in my case. Maybe there is a benefit there that I don't see, I like simplicity myself.
