The past few mornings it's been 25 degrees here. I go and start my truck to let it warm up a little and get the frost off the window. Normally the grid heater will cycle after I start it for a few minutes this morning and yesterday it only cycled one time. It did cycle before I started the truck and one time after but that's all. I didn't have the truck plugged in. Is this normal or do I have an issue?

No codes and the wait to start light comes on and stays on for a bit then goes off. Starts like it should.

How do you tell if it's post cycling, are you watching v gauge or just the tone of motor

I can hear the change in sound and see the lights dim as I am walking the dogs.  Maybe i just wasn't paying enough attention but I swear it only cycled one time this morning and yesterday. Really weird.

Only way to cancel post heat is to exceed 25 MPH or allow it to idle more 5 minutes.

Or another mystery switch from @IBMobile when he decides to Spill the Beans

I guess so! I Hate to waste yalls time tho! I need to hurry up and get me a quadzilla so I can get high idle, get better mpg, and better monitor stuff.  Thanks again!

If the grid heaters ever arent cycling then it should trigger a code...

Heck maybe toss in OBDLink LX too in the pile. Helps with diagnostics and error code erasing.

Probably not a bad idea!
