I would be concerned with the P1488. Double check all your electrical connections for the batteries and ground make sure they are good. Then clear the errors and try again. If it returns then you migh

Hi Mike, He bought it without Batteries. Shouldn't he try the TPS calibration? If it is bad, isn't there a TIMBO TPS in the store? Thanks Michael :- )

You can try a APPS reset... I seriously doubt the APPS is the cause being the 5 volt signal is not being generated this makes ALL the sensors including the APPS wrong. First you need to fi
Hey guys so this is my first post, I've been searching the Interweb for days/weeks trying to find a cause for my problem, hoping to get some help so here goes. Recently picked up this 2001 ram 2500 24v with a blown head gasket. I pulled the head, had it checked, cleaned everything and put it back together. Everything went great till i tried starting it. It will start, but as soon as its started it revs almost as if it was a run away. I can shut it down with the key so i know its not running away. I have my 5v at the apps, I've check the ecm pins all for power. Im not a electrical guru so I'm in desperate need of some help. Ive tried the apps reset with no avail. Hitting the pedal as its reving does nothing at all. I did write down all the pins on ecm that have power even the ones with very little volt readings (.01-3v) not sure if its a grounding issue or what is causing this. Ill try uploading a video of how it does when started. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
