I been ignoring this for about a year now maybe even longer, just curious if anyone else has this? Its my 01 with about 350K on it. It rattles for maybe 2 - 3 seconds oil pressure builds up and its fine.

My truck always did this.    I never worried about it.  Also timing is hugely high to start on cold morning.

As for the oil pressure building mine does the same thing in the morning on cold starts. Rattles just for a moment till oil pressure builds. I normally just let it idle for a good 2 minutes before getting moving on sub zero mornings. Once its had some time to pump oil then I just get rolling and go easy till it builds more heat. 

I was wondering what happened with everyting.
