Dirt to snow or snow to dirt.

Ive made a horrible mistake and have been sledbiking with a buddy riding his bike.

I used to do the dirt bike thing 20 years ago. Im now 39 maybe this is a crisis whatever it is ill take it. Th we green thing is almost ready.

Ive never done drugs but this must be like all the best ounce at ounce pumping through my veins

      I've done that in the past. I've got my little ATV Honda Rancher 420cc. That ATV is so light I can ride on top of the crust of snow and never sink down in. Where usually buddies bring out the big 800c

    Mike if your wheel chair ridden as pictured with blinders on to snowmachines n snow bunnies I guess I can kinda understand as youve already got a snowbunnie rounded up.

    I wish. Truthfully when I get past some the stuff I'm doing I could hit the snowmobile rental shop in McCall ID and see if I can work a deal like I did 14 years ago and bought a Arctic CAT Panther Deluxe only paid $800 for it had a crack in the windscreen, I might do that again buy a nice one maybe next year? 

    Have you seen the prices of snowmobiles lately? It's completely insane.

    Ohhh yes prices are crazy. I built my sled bike so im not in it to bad. But the bike is new. 

    I used to live on kx dirt bikes but never in the snow

    Yeah full track side by side or ATVs are really common out here. Not motorcycles with tracks. Ive seen a few passing on the highway but never send one running in the snow.

    Mattracks.. just don't look at the price. truck ones last i looked which was well before covid was like 10 grand for the set. 

     

    Just looked.. its 10 grand each track (fully optioned), so 40k per vehicle for a 2500 size truck.

     

    They have tracks that will outfit a boom truck for power line work and farm tractors so I can only guess how much those are..

    Road 6000-9000ft 4ft of powdee in upper basins also rode some shitty snow.

    Had gopro footage but camera decided it wanted to stay on the mtn.

    Log hoping is fun the powder the down trees are fun to jump off of. There much harder to crosd sidehill and uphill

     

    Had a blast today. I will not be able to get enough of this.
