 Not long ago I changed injectors in my truck (see sig) and assuming that the claim of 100hp is accurate, anyone have an estimate of my new torque numbers? 

 Stock Dodge advertised 235hp and 460ftlb of torque I believe.  Just wondering where it might be at now. Any thoughts?

 No chassis dyno around here that I know of and honestly not that worried about it to spend the time and money. Just curiosity really.

Cummins is roughly 1hp to 2ft/lbs. 

Ricer math says 335hp, so that makes 670 ft/lbs.. Not sure about drivetrain loss but i see 20% tossed around often as an average. 

 

670 x 1.2 = 804 so @Mopar1973Man's math checks out.

Is that for both sticks and auto transmissions?

I think its more of a guidline than an actual rule for making power estimates. Also why i used the term ricer math.. add up all the advertised hp ratings and thats what it should be on the dyno.. rarely does that play out like that though..

@Max Tune in spite of the fact that you are correct, most torque wrench manufacturers use ft/lb unless they have changed recently. Just thought I’d throw that out there.

The torque value would drop 20% not increase to the rear wheels. The advertised power of 235hp and 460 lbs/ft is at the flywheel not the wheels. The lbs/ft of torque according “ricer math” with 670 at the flywheel would be 536lbs/ft to the wheels.

Didnt know it was at the flywheel to begin with. Hense why it was an increase in my math.. Learned something today.
