My passenger e brake started dragging so I got under there and at some point I bent the cable where it goes in the bracket. So I went to order a new one and no one can get them, so I go to Dodge and they tell me both brake cables are discontinued. I hate going to the wrecking yard for parts. Anyone else experience this?

I just got a set a NAPA last year. Check over at Doorman I've seen them listed.

 I'm in need of the same cable. I looked at rock auto not long ago and they had them.

I'm in the same boat. Need entire cable setup, Then a second big bright light to tell me brake is still on lol.

Just jumped on my NAPA ProLink and here is a bunch of cables. 

 

Wow I went to napa and they said they had nothing. Im going to have to pull it and measure though I'm finding all kinds of different length's.

 I ran into that to. Not the out of stock issue but the length. They seem to have used several different lengths of cables back there. I tried to measure it once while on the truck. Nearly impossible to get an accurate measurement. 

 Thought about just ordering what I thought was right and take a chance. Being it's a dually I don't want to have to take it all apart 2-3 times for the cable.

I normally pull the cables and bring them in. The only trouble is the 2002 list you have to back up to 2001. Same cables but they list. I use NAPA for most of my common stuff. Since I'm a business I can use NAPA prolink and can order parts myself, all parts are shipped on Tuesday morning.
