Has anyone ever replaced the bearing in the belt tensioner? is this something that can be replaced and if so who has the part number of the bearing? mine is starting to squeak and i figured that this would be the cheaper route rather than replacing the entire tensioner. thank you.

I got one from AutoZone. You can look it up on their website. Easy replacement.

the entire tensioner? or just the bearing?

i have noticed a little rust dust coming out of the pivot point lately, no squeaking. i hosed any opening with PB i could see. hope that makes a differance

About $70 from O'rielly, might check with cummins/frieghtliner(might be a better quality part) I know I need to replace mine, because belt isn't riding correctly.
