June 21, 201113 yr Author I have not spun tires on this motor, could it have happen 3k miles before now? Here's what I found, my driver's side batt is 10.49 and passanger is 12.58, could bad battery cause that?

Sounds like time for new batteries and double check the cables (voltage drop test). 0500 is a speed sensor problem. Caj is right... Batteries have nothing to do with it...
June 21, 201113 yr you dont have to spin them very much to set that code either. i have seen on mine fairly often.
June 22, 201113 yr Spun the tires eh? http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/abs/abs.htm (Bottom of the page) Thanks Mike every time I come on this site I learn something new.
June 22, 201113 yr Author I dont know if it had something to do with it or not but put new batterys and light went out. The driver side batt. was fried it had the smell of battery acid.Maybe conections.
June 23, 201113 yr Owner Nope... ECM/PCM are just like your old 24V regardless of unplugging the batteries for a period of time the codes will remain. But codes will be cleared in 40 warm up cycles still... The CEL light will clear in a few key cycles typically but remember the code will remain.
i just got a P 0500 1693 I have no clue.
