I was just thinking about sending a special "thank you" to Mike and the Mopar1973Man gang, and here you are beating me to the punch.:thumbup2:Thanks Mike!

I'm just going to tack this little note onto your "thanks Mike". Speaking for my son, he will be honored and at the same time he'll be telling you thank you because you, the members are the driving force that keeps him moving ahead and helping. Your the motivation! Mike was called out at 5 PM (our time) for a Search&Rescue that has them looking for an 80 year old man on an ATV. His staging area is one of the rest areas on the Salmon River. He has 62 miles of canyon floor with the river running through it along side Hwy 95. There is sheer steep rocky mountains on both sides of him. He said they were having trouble GPSing the settings, but he knows the territory...it's filled with switch backs. Stodg73 being EMS you know what is taking place. I'm sure they have an ambulance standing by. Don't know when he'll get home. Love MoparMom

Double trouble night for me.I was called out on the Search & Rescue and hauled out 9 miles in the back country to find a local gent that rolled his ATV and broke his hip. His son was with him and kept him warm and safe. My buddy James and myself show up with a EMT and she starts to deal with him. Then I grab onto another Sheriff and went and setup a landing zone for LifeFlight. Then it was a waiting game for Lifeflight. After Liftflight showed up then it was time to pack him to the landing zone. As they did that me and group of guys rolled his ATV over and we started towing it out. Then the call came for a grass fire near us. Oh Great! So James, Alan on each side of the rear rack and me driving haul tail down the mountain and I drop Alan off at his truck and I book with James down the highway about 1 miles to find... another friend of mine have a nice bonfire burning his yard trash and everyone drinking beer. So we call off the Salmon River Rural Fire Dept and return back to the IC camp of the Search & Rescue. I file my paperwork and now came home. I'm tired...:sleep:As for the OP your welcome.

It is a great site. Thanks for your part of keeping going. I would have been lost many times with out you and the other members. :thumbup2:

:ashamed: I think you went over board now. :ahhh:

Sorry about that! None of us are perfect, I know, but you know more about my truck than I do. :hyper:

It's funny you happen to say that. I'll repeat again... I've never been to school for diesel engines and I'm not ASE certified. So why am I so knowledgeable? Because of reading and listening to all the different tales of people nation wide fixing there trucks. They admit their mistakes and what they manage to fix. Then there is wonderful people like ISX, wild and Free and other that push it that extra step and throw even more technical information into the pot. More or less keep asking questions and we'll keep trying to find answers.
