I didn't feel or hear anything... Yeah I know I'm a long ways from it too.

Nothing here, but SE Idaho is a few miles away....

If that's near Idaho Falls, I know there's a group of farriers/blacksmiths that get together and "blow up anvils" near there!!!  

 

It'll be better if you google "blow up anvils" than for me to try to explain!!  

I've seen what you mention about the anvil thing..

Although,not too long ago,people from other areas of the world have experienced weird noise phenomena too. No one has ever figured it out either.

Here's to hoping it's nothing serious.

We had a "mysterious" explosion heard here where I live about 2 years ago, found out after a few months that it was some neighbors about a mile and a half away having some fun with some tannerite and a freezer.
