Got my RV275s installed and WOW!!!
3 pointsJust got back from the maiden voyage with the RV275s. Took me 3.5 hours to change them. I did take the lines right off like pepsiocean's video. The garbage bag idea was awesome too. My #6 injector line was very loose and leaking so I hope I fixed my poor start if pointed uphill problem. Anyway, I could tell the difference the moment I hit the key. It sounded beefier, but smoother if that makes sense...lol. On the test drive I can hit 30 psi of boost now. Before it would hit 25psi the odd time. That is with the Comp on level 1x5. I don't have the pump tapped yet due to the stupid 5 point torx bolts. I need to borrow a driver bit to install the stealth cover. My stock injectors had 460,000kms on them and must have been getting poor. It would miss a bit when cold too and now it runs smooth. So thanks for all the good tips guys and thanks to DAP for great pricing and free shipping to Canada on the injectors. I can't wait to try level 3x5.........3 points

Smarty Jr POD update troubles, How is it done?
Took it to town last night on SW#2 Timing default and Torque on #3, everything was quiet and smooth and not agressive in the least.Got home and reprogrammed to SW#3 and Timing at #3 and Torque on #2 will be heading to town for my companies christmas party tonight and will give this setting a go and see how agressive the max Torque setting is.So far I like how much smoother and quieter the thing runs versus the original 3rd gen smarty JR tunes.I have not had a chance to tow anything yet to gauge if it smokes less or not. Anything is better than it was, I never knew I had a chrome bumper or silver rocker panels on the right rear with the old tune the whole corner was always black.1 point

Cummins 2500 don't start
1 pointA little run down about ECM and Wait To Start light...When the key is twisted from OFF to ON and you normal see the wait to start light come on. There is several thing that have to happen for it to light up. first of all you got to understand the ECM is just like you home computer. ECm had a PROM (Programmable Read Only Memory) kind of like your hard drive, processor, RAM (memory), etc. So when that key is turned on the processor reads the PROM into RAM (booting) and then starts the software. One of the first task is to check IAT temps and see if grid heat is needed. Well when the Wait to stat light is lighting up is typically because there is a issue with the internal RAM and memory errors. So booting process is slowed way down trying to write the information to RAM. Eventually it does out right fail. As for a cause I finding that alternator AC noise is a big factor to electronic life span on these truck. You might have the alternator check as well as batteries and battery cables for problems too. Being the ECM and VP44 share the negative battery cable for ground.1 point

Expanded diagonstic P code list for the 3rd generation trucks.
Just a little heads up for you 3rd Gen owners I know I had the simple error coe list at the top of the page. I'm currently working on the explained version of the error codes for the site you might want to take a look over here. It's incomplete but about half of them are there now. http://articles.mopar1973man.com/3rd-generation-dodge-cummins/60-obdii-error-codes Enjoy...1 point
