  1. It was awesome to just take time away from the mess in my own yard. Even though both of us were worn out and really didn't do anything much while out here. The weather got cold and is snowing. We were up near Lost Valley Reservoir at an elevation of roughly 4,800 feet. The first two days were spent sitting at the dining table, looking out the windows at the storm rolling in and then rolling out and clearing up. Titanium was in hair and super simple, just black eyeliner and black eye shadow, then black lipstain. The focus was more on healing and rest. Which we did for the 4 days we were out there. We both enjoyed the dry camping so much that it will become a normal travel plan. Even with our medical requirements and doctor's visits, we can pull the RV down towards Boise and dry camp somewhere. If we need a more solid home base, I still have my friend "Muddy" in Parma, who is always looking forward to us stopping in. There will be more travel with us using Beast and the RV, more so for even shopping in Lewiston, ID. We can dry camp anywhere or stay at the Clearwater Casino, which is a full hook-up spot too.

We are still currently living in the RV as we start to unpack into the house again, @Tweety Bird and I enjoyed the dry camping we did up at Lost Valley Reservoir. We needed the break so badly that we never went fishing at all. We just enjoyed the quiet and lack of cell service. My phone had just 1 bar, which barely would work, and I was able to text a few friends and communicate with them. We had two days of a very cold and windy snowstorm. Even back home, I was able to catch the Mopar1973Man weather station once to see 17 MPH winds during that storm. Thor managed to pull the RV but not hing like what Beast can. Remember, Thor is a stock truck with slightly larger injectors, like +50 HP. The RV at 8,3xx pounds was a good tug to get up to 4,800 feet from 2,8xx feet here at home. Still, Thor managed a mere 13.5 MPG on the run out for camping and only came into town to pick up gasoline for the generator.
  3. Here is the wiring map and fuse location.
  4. I'm on a Valair dual disc clutch on both trucks. Beast, I got the AutoZone master cylinder and slave on. Yes, I'll admit it's a strong push on the pedal for the throw. Thor still has the Valair hydro's, but a much lighter pedal throw. Still feel the heavy springs of the pressure plate. Yeah, the mounting tab to break off means it's a lot of pressure pushing on the hydro's master? I've got to ask whether you over-adjust the rod? There shouldn't be any mechanical force on the master cylinder body unless the over-adjusted rod was allowing the piston to bottom out in the cylinder, causing the break mounting ears. Or is the plastic so weak that constant cycling of the clutch caused it to fail by breaking?

@Tweety Bird and I will be heading out to Lost Valley Reservoir. We are going to get away from the house to give us both a break. Time to go fishing! It's been a rough spring with weather issues and attempting to keep vehicles running. We are just both burned out. The new injection pump for Beast will be here on Monday. The owners of Mopar1973Man.Com are going to disappear to the lake. Take a weekend and rest and be free for a while.
  6. Just gotta keep studying data as you fly low across the panel. You will find averages and things that your truck likes and dislikes. Just remember if you change settings that lower engine load and EGT's are a good thing. If you make changes and the EGTs and engine go up, then you are going the wrong way.
  7. So, as I was packing up on my first trip, I was doing a lot of back and forth, loading stuff in the RV. For 2 days, I didn't wear any makeup at all. When I got going and realized I needed to stop at the local hardware store for a chunk of chain, like 6 feet or so. This was purchased to lock the generator to the truck or RV. When I walked into the store without makeup on, everyone kept coming up to me and asking, "Are you OK? Are you sick again? Cancer coming back?" Nope, just was super busy and didn't make up for the days of packing. Then, to find out during the trip, I left both eye shadow palettes at home. After returning home, I was so tired I spent one more day without makeup. Then yesterday, May 14, I was in full Teal makeup and hair. Wearing my ripsaw collar again. Life was back to normal again. Sadly, I didn't take any photos. Yeah, I know, no photo, no proof, right?
  8. We are still camped out in the RV in our front yard. I made a call to DAP for the VP44 injection pump. I've got an injection pump coming on Monday. Perk bonus DAP also found a compressor wheel for my HX35/40 turbo so I can finally rebuild that turbo and use it again. We are thinking of relocating home for a time up to Lost Valley Reservoir. Might have to go fishing for the weekend. I really don't like looking at the shop's direction. Relocation of the RV will be handled by Thor. I've gotta be nice to Thor, because he does have a bad cylinder and the blow-by is present.
  9. I have never heard of this. Could you at least show a photo of what you are talking about, please? Currently, I have aluminum hydraulics on Beast, which are AutoZone lifetime warranty hydraulics. All are made from aluminum and hold up much longer.
  10. ABORT MISSION -REPEAT- ABORT MISSION. We left home here at about 3pm on May 11 2026. We made it down to Emmett ID but the public RV park was closed. We left Emmett and made it to few miles outside of Eagle ID and this Chevron station had a large dirt lot. Perfect! Loaded up with fuel (We aren't going to talk about prices! 🤬) walk inside and asked and gal was like sure. No problem. Got a fairly level spot and shut the truck down and all 3 of us (Mollie the cat) headed for the RV. Next morning. We got ready and head for @Tweety Bird doctor appointment and sure enough they called and reschedule till 1pm. OK lets get food for the RV. Didn't even make it to WinCo and Beast fell on his face full 3 seconds like the key got turned off and back on. Quadzilla was still seeing data. No check engine light. We opted to go back hitch up and abort the trip. Once out of the city area I pulled over got my OBDLink MX code reader. Sure enough there was a P1689 code. Still no check engine light. Clear the codes to make sure it doesn't go into limp mode. Ran for home drove with a light foot and power level still on 2. Just a little bit more than 1/4 tank of fuel ran an average speed of 55MPH home still 141 mile run. Not shabby! Just weird. Im going to hunt the forum for my last pump see how far it went. @Tweety Bird and I are home safe. Beast unhooked from the trailer and we are just camping in the front yard. Too tired to pack stuff out today. Ugh!
  11. Images added to a gallery album owned by Mopar1973Man in 2nd Generation Cummins
Beast - 2002 Dodge Ram 25005.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel, 5 speed (NV4550), 4WD, 501k miles AirDog 165 GPH, BHAF, +150 HP Injectors (7x 0.010) popped at 320 bar, Quadzilla Adrenaline tuner, Valair dual disc clutch, ISSPro EV2 gauges (boost, fuel pressure, pyrometer, transmission temp), Kenwood Bluetooth stereo, Wolfbox Camera
  12. Fixed it for you. First leg down. We ran down hwy 55 figured on Emmett ID but that failed when we got there we found the RV park closed. I head down towards Eagle ID but found a Chevron with a dirt lot besides the store.I did the polite thing walked in and asked if I could park here. Gal said, "No problem.". Wife and I are going to dry camp as much as possible. Scaled the truck bit heavy 8,880 pounds, trailer getting close 8,360 pounds. Total weight 17,240 pounds. Running my custom tow tune. Level 2. Plenty of pulling power and roughly 12 MPG with the weight.
  13. Consider this a learning experience now to get the RV packed and to spend up to 2 weeks away. We will see how this all works out very soon. Post more later on.
  14. Might try to get the name right... Mopar1973Man, there are no imitations. I'll post up some info on my trip south. We (wife and I) are going to get rolling in a bit today, heading south. Taking a bit to get everything packed for an extended stay in the RV.
  15. @Tweety Bird has some shoulder issues we need to deal with. She has a few medical appointments to handle down in the Treasure Valley Idaho. Don't fret, we have packed up the RV today and are nearly ready to start a travel trip down south. This is like a practice run because eventually we want to travel cross-country to see some of the members of this website. I know I have a spot with @Doubletrouble. I know I need to rattle some other members in the future. We are going to do as much as we can as a stand-alone RV, no RV parks, etc. Yesterday and today have been very busy, loading personal stuff in the RV and getting everything tucked away. As for Titanium, I've taken most of the wigs out of the house and loaded nearly all my makeup supplies with me. This is not just a few-day trip; it's going to be a long 2 to 3-week trip. Instead of driving back and forth, I'm going to rough it in the RV and do the best we can on our own. This will give us a break from the house and the mess here. Then handle the medical appointments. In the same token, get the RV ready for travel more so. More to come as Titanium Travels the state of Idaho down south. There is even discussion of "fishing" yup the fishing poles are packed.
  16. @dieselautopower Possibly might have an idea too.
