FRRP-100 Test - Please explain if this is correct.
I think there is a post you did 2011 about an alternate wiring on a post in the relay panel, is this what you are referring to? If so, do you have images or schematic? I would like to install it on my truck. Thank you.

Hey Michael, Does your Air Dog 150 do this in the winter? It was 60'f this morning and in the afternoon this scenario disappeared

FRRP-100 Test - Please explain if this is correct.
Truck is at operating temperature, although what I describe below happens while starting at cold temp. I installed the FRRP-100 last weekend and set the pressure to 19.0-19.5psi at idle. Notice the normal initial 2 sec run at ~21.5 psi. After starting, it runs at ~15.5 psi for 15 sec and then jumps to 16 psi - finally it jumps to 19 psi and the engine sound different. Coincidently the ScanGauge 2 comes on at the same time. Is this a function of Open vs. Closed loop of the VP44? Is this a function of the ECM? Thank you.

Odometer Accuracy
I found the instrument cluster of a VW Jetta (from May 2005) the speedometer(G21) and tachometer (G5) receive data from the instrument cluster control module. There are sensors on each wheel for ESP control and ABS. But the odometer might come from the transmission control module which makes sense for automatic or DSG but not manual.

Odometer Accuracy
I honestly do not know. I purchased the car 1 year old and in warranty, so it was the first thing to catch my eye. Then my wife bought another 2006 TDI and same issue was found, so they corrected it. We took a vacation in her car and the navigation system was off by 10% in mileage. Dealership told me to contact NavTech about the navigation mileage issue, but I think they did not want to invest time in detailed work. Then it was totaled and she bought the 2012 TDI which the speedometer is perfect, but we have not taken a vacation in it yet to view the odometer.

Odometer Accuracy
I found the work order. Performed coding change from 7203 to 7207 in value Block 17 for instrument cluster for speedometer inaccuracy. Speedometer is 3mph plus which is within VW specs. They should do this for free.

What is you Cutoff value?

Odometer Accuracy
That's similar to my VW. I think it's a design feature.

I have been emailing with James Delong at Linear Logic – Operations Manager:“Diesel B was only used on some 1998-1999 Ford trucks.”My initial setup was incorrect due to Diesel A vs. Diesel B test. I set it to Diesel B and then second fill up at 500 miles/~25 gallons. Again tested Diesel A vs. Diesel B and both went to zero . We found the Cutoff was at default 24 and needed reset to 0 and Diesel A selected. At this point, I needed a complete Factory Reset and start over . I am not even looking at it until the second fill up.I would like to know what setting other people are using for Cutoff. The recommendation is 4 above no throttle TPS value. Also I would like to know the % value most are using after a few tanks. My Diesel B Fill Up value was -19.7% (stock injectors) Josh states Diesel B is the invert of Diesel A. I am happy it matches Michael's numbers . My Speed is -8% to match the GPS (tires LT245x75Rx16). Update: On my 3rd tank and offset is 40%. Can anyone reading this, please reply with your numbers.

Fuel Cap Vented or not?
Well, I put the 1/16 inch hole in the cap and tested it. Comments welcome on plugging the rollover hole

Cranking is slowly increasing before start.
I have an FRRP to be delivered today and work on installation this weekend. Since I have the relocation kit I will install it. Does anybody know what the connector out the tank is? Might as well replace tank to pump with the same fuel hose. - - - Updated - - - You will be proud of me Mopar1873Man - FRRP installed and set at 18psi. When the tank is empty, I will install the 3/8 fuel line from tank to filter and then find a 3/8 line from filter to VP44. For those who want to understand the installation http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbabxis78Rk

Fuel Cap Vented or not?
I bet I have a clogged rollover vent. I fill the tank until I see diesel and never have a leak, so the float must be stuck and I get a vacuum. I am going to drill a 1/16 inch hole in the cap.

Fuel Cap Vented or not?
Simple question is the original fuel cap vented?

Cranking is slowly increasing before start.
In the video of the return flow, it seems at idle there is ~70% of return flow when compared to the engine OFF and the pump ON with pin hole flow. What is the reason for this as the input pressure was the same? Is it not true that when coasting downhill with the exhaust brake engaged/injectors closed there is ~70% flow returning and should be no heat in VP44 because you are at max input pressure. In my setup, I wanted to see the actual pump input pressure and agree it is boarder line with the specs from the manual. I do have a Relocation kit (with new Carter pump) for the pump which eliminates the banjo fittings, but I have just started considering the FASS DDRP-02 direct Dodge replacement pump, but it does use the banjo fittings Can you tell me where the tank vent is located?

Cranking is slowly increasing before start.
I am on my 3rd fill up with 1oz of Super Tech 2cycle per gallon of fuel. Maybe coincidence! I use to bump the starter and engine immediately fired up. Now it takes 2-3 seconds of cranking. Stock transfer pump installed 36,000 miles now at 98,500 miles. Fuel pressures no load on truck: Idle 14psi, 75mph 10psi, on interstate WOT 8-9psi - this is monitored before the fuel filter. Fuel filter changed 94,000 miles FS19598 Fleetguard. Recent fill up 178 mile trip with 301 mile trip next day and there was a vacuum when removing OEM cap on tank. Even if I bump starter and pressure builds still 2-3 seconds of cranking. Any ideas

Sludge/Honey in the bottom of the fuel filter canister,
To confirm use a pH test strip and if it is 10 it is alkaline. Let's assume it will be 10 pH, add lemon juice and it will neutralize to 6 or 7 and should clean up easier. It would be glycerin and NaOH/Lye (sodium hydroxide). Wear protective glove and wash your hands quickly after contact, it can also be flammable......methanol.

Sludge/Honey in the bottom of the fuel filter canister,
I have a fear that someone was using biodiesel and it separated in your fuel tank. Best just pull the tank and clean it. Could also be a water leak in the fuel station holding tank. Is it a golden yellow color?

Starting System 98-02 Dodge Ram Service Manual.pdf Attach is the wiring schematic. Since it is a manual, there should be a switch on the clutch.
