Beast is falling apart!
Sounds like regular maintenance for one of these pickups. Lol . I need to also replace the dash in my pickup right after I finish the lift pump fiasco next month when I get back home

Fuel psi problems
When I ran it today I had 23psi at idle. That’s way more pressure than I had when the pump was new so I disconnected the return to tank and ran it into a bucket. 15 -16 psi at idle. That tells me there is a restriction in the return circuit. Going to drop the tank and figure out what is going on on

Fuel psi problems
Plugged pump return . Flow into bucket 16psi ,into tank 23 psi. I get to drop the tank again . I’m so excited…….🙄

Fuel psi problems
Got back on this issue today. I have replaced OFV valve. Im not confident this has fixed anything. I test drove the pickup and psi’s are 19 WOT to 23 at idle. This is not at all consistent with psi’s prior to this issue. Prior to this issue I had 17-19 consistently. I am going to continue driving this thing locally fully anticipating it to fail again….. ?

W-T mod question
Have you had the breaker trip? It must be a pretty rare event, being the fusible link in my PDC has never been replaced
-
W-T mod question
Thank you. I just waiting for a fuse housing to be delivered and I will be done with this mod. I wasn’t able to find a 140 amp setup so I went with 150. Will this be a problem?

W-T mod question
I’m in the middle of this project, so if anyone has an answer or feedback I’d really appreciate it. It seems like a pretty valid question. Sorry if this has been covered before.

W-T mod question
I’m pretty sure this has been covered, but I can’t find it. So the way I understand this the alternator feed into the PDC is eliminated. There is a 140 amp fusible link between the two hot leads going into the PDC what is the purpose of this? Do I need to bring that second lead going into the PDC to the driver side battery or is this not needed?

Fuel psi problems
intermittent fuel supply blockage, especially suction side of lift pump large amount of air in fuel system (not likely) intermittent power to lift pump faulty lift pump (pressure regulator issue) What would cause intermittent power to lift pump?

Can someone please direct me to the write up on this or share a link. I’ve been all over looking for it.

Fuel psi problems
Well instead of chasing parts around to test OFV like another air regulator I just ordered one from Genos . While I’m in the wrenching mode I’ll use this shipping time for other projects I’ve been putting off. WT mod, battery cables, headlights, and door assembly. I’ll let you know when I get the OFV replaced. I think the only other thing it could be is an intermittent suction clog.
