  1. Thank you for the update but still a little sour I've had two major issues within two years. Luckily the first was under warranty.
  2. UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Quadzilla and the Quadzilla passed all tests so signs point to a damaged iQuadBT. Solution is to sell me a new iQuad (Plus). I hate to shell out a quarter of what I paid for it but no other options. Thank you all for the insight.
  3. Thank you! They got back to me yesterday & appears I need to send in for analysis. Thank you all again & will report back with findings.
  4. Truly impressive setup! Thank you for sharing. Still no word from Quadzilla!
  5. I’ve seen clean trucks on fleabay asking $25k but am unsure if they sell at that price. Fact is 2nd gen trucks are proven and without strict emissions equipment. Most everyone I speak to about their brand new truck complains about failing & costly emissions equipment hence the market for deletes.
  6. I'll agree with you on that! On another note...I have always been impressed with the algae biodiesel. I have a drum of old cooking oil in my yard but never got to refining it. The biofuels are also a lot nicer to our fuel system with the added lubricity.
  7. ah ha...it is not dedicated to the truck. Gotcha. Pictures would be sweet! That's right. Genius! Thank you for clarifying.
  8. Those mounts seem like a great idea but I am confused by your "rolled up" cover. Can you elaborate? How do the mounts affix to your dash? Adhesive? Thank you for the info I am extremely interested. I read your posts regarding this but are they offering the longer cables? I have been living with my repairing bluetooth issues which is tolerable but now this is unacceptable. Last time I contacted Quadzilla they were quick to respond but nothing as of yet. Maybe I will call.
  9. Thank you for the reply. It does happen every single time and through my entire diagnostic period I have not actually started the truck: only tried in K.O.E.OFF position. I emailed Quadzilla yesterday so waiting for a response. Are you making fun of my S3?!! haha. I tried using the tablet in the truck but no great method to mount it. The slickest I have seen is to purchase an android touch screen radio and set up with the app. Thank you again & I will report back.
  10. Successfully re-flashed and still same issue. Could it be an app issue? I am exporting my custom tunes now and I will delete app & reinstall. My device is an old Samsung S3 (which could be an issue but has not been in the past). I am running iQuad 1.9.50. I have the older bluetooth only head & have dealt with "standard" pairing issues & know how to resolve. Thank you for your time and I will report back. UPDATE: Installed latest iQuad on Samsung SM-T800 tablet with same result. The app takes over 30 seconds to populate the proper number of tuning variables ("0/43") from "0/100". I am now out of options. I will contact Quadzilla support and direct to this thread. Thank you all again for the prompt replies!
  11. Thank you for the tip. I just tried with airplane mode OFF but same result. It has previously worked just fine with airplane mode ON (bluetooth ON) but I will now attempt reflash & report back.
  12. Thank you both for the responses. I will reflash today and see what happens. I do have a dedicated device on airplane mode but it is a Samsung S3. It has worked flawless so far. Nervous nobody else has experienced this but I will report back. Thank you again.
  13. Good day all. Got in my truck one morning and out of the blue my adrenaline tuning variables fail to load. My butt dyno tells me I’m at stock fueling which is odd because I thought the box kept the last loaded tune active. I have updated the app but no luck. Anyone else have this issue? I am running v2.7. Not sure if it’s v2.7.7 but I do have “build date” in data logging. Should I attempt a reflash? Thank you in advance.
  14. I mean any Edge CTS screen for a different vehicle (say chevy or ford Edge CTS). Thank you for the help.
  15. Thank you for the prompt reply. All he needs is a new monitor but Edge no longer sells them so wondering if he can buy any used monitor (LCD) that works with his EDGE harness.
  16. Good day all. I have a friend with an Edge CTS and the wiring harness socket failed in the back of his monitor & re-soldering failed to work even with a new harness. Does anyone know if any CTS monitor, no matter the vehicle, will work (with obviously the correct rear plug)? I would think the brain is in the under hood Edge box and the monitor is only just that: a monitor. Thank you very much.
  17. I am dealing with a continuous unlocking issue (even after fob batteries removed) but have yet to start physically digging into the truck. I did find the TSB 08-023-03 : http://starparts.chrysler.com/tsb/en_us/dto/pbd2/08/00/22/080022dc8137f5ec.pdf When I search online for the TSB switches (56049284AA & 56049285AA) the cross-reference tool states it will not fit on my 2001 Ram Quad Cab. I will hopefully follow up with my solution but felt this is the place to post my findings. UPDATE: Moot point I guess....parts are discontinued
  18. Just to follow up: my surging was a due to a loose MAP sensor connection. Cleaned, greased, done. Still bought parts and plan to accomplish W-T mods.
  19. For reference: G107 is ground I mentioned. Looks like I found the proper home using logic. Additionally; take note the proximity of CPS location versus where you are tugging...Seems to be quite close. This being said, are you absolutely sure you're getting fuel? The VP plug is right there too...I believe both of those could cause a crank no start condition. In what condition is your overflow valve on the VP44? After my truck sat for a while through the rebuild, the ball was happily nested in the seat causing a crank no start. I took it off, pushed in the ball, shot it with brake clean, started right up. Check it out.
  20. I guess I would like to know where exactly your hand is on the harness when you are moving it around. Have you taken a good look at the surrounding areas for broken ground wires/connectors? I have a ground wire bolted to the block to the immediate rear of the ECM plug. Not sure if this is stock since I purchased the truck with blown engine in the bed but the workshop manual should have some diagrams. I did not confirm with manual but this seemed like the most reasonable location and fit perfectly. CHECK CONTINUITY first between ECM and sensors. Get jiggy with the harness while the meter is connected and observe. Likely a 2 person job but I rarely receive help. You can do this. I doubt it is a bad ECM but could be wrong. Start simple.
  21. Sounds like a plug or harness issue for sure. Make sure all the connectors are properly secured in the ECM plug. Next step is to chase cam/crank sensor harness for damage but start with continuity tests. I am not a big "new diesel" fan but congratulations on the new truck!
  22. Thank you for the response. I will reply to your email.
  23. Interesting. I contacted them Friday and waiting to hear back. Did the new quad connect reliably?
