App just froze as I was exporting. I think I just lost my log?

@Me78569 was using your daily tune and put it on level 5 for a stretch to see the tune and my truck stalled out is there a way to export the log to see what happened?

@Quadzilla_Stephen I believe the latest version of the app was given to me by @Me78569 it is v 1.9.2? I believe it is not the beta version. It is the version of the app where the importing tune feature was fixed.

@Me78569 hmm I have never had that issue. Next time it freezes I’ll try to take a video. Before it freezes it will intermittently update the gauges then freeze all together

@Me78569what do you mean by the egt updates when the app is frozen? the app completely locks up where it will show all the different gauges and nothing will update. If you close the app and re-open it, it will still be frozen. A hard restart of the tablet usually does the trick but it wipes out all the data log.

@Me78569I am running a custom tune on the update you released today but I noticed on level 0 the high idle seemed to be much less than before. Did you change that? Have you encountered the app freezing issue?

@Me78569 just to be sure can you post a link that takes me to the play store with the most recent version of the app? Also how did you get @Mopar1973Man 'a eco tune? When I go to the repository only your tunes come up?

I am having trouble with the download and import feature. I am using 1998-2000 V2.5 and when I go to import it takes me to my files I have downloaded here on the site. But it won't physically import the file into my custom tunes?? Any advice?

@Dieselfuture I only restart my tablet. I've never hard to restart the truck or unplug the module.

I was having a similar issue with my Samsung galaxy tab. I turned it to airplane mode with Bluetooth enabled and it has seemed to help quite a bit. Now my app only freezes once a week or so. A simple restart of the device and reconnecting it works for me. Give that a shot and see if you have any improvements.

I had a lope when going from a stop while letting out the clutch. This latest tune cleared that up right away. Tuck also idles notably smoother.

@Me78569 did you ever get anywhere with the MPH bug?

@kzimmer I was hoping it would compensate my new tire size so I could have a more accurate speed since I don't have the ability to calibrate my speedo at the moment.

Yes I ran it for about a week now with the tire size being adjusted with no change in MPH on the Quad. @Me78569 I know it's confused because I will be crushing in 5th on the highway but dude to the lower RPM's it says I am in 4th gear.

@Me78569 "are you saying your cluster speedo isn't changing or the mph reading on the iquad app isn't changing?" theMPH on the quad isn't changing. I know my speedometeris going to be off due to the much larger tires. Thank you I will give that tune a shot!

@Me78569 I just figured out how to update my signature. Hope it works now. Also I was fairly certain I has re gears and the tranny figured out but I'll keep playing with it to see if it changes. Default tire size is 95.7 and I upped it to 107.91 with no MPH change from what my speedometer says. Went by a speed trap ans it's 10mph off at least.

Have a few questions: -when downloading a new tune should it default to the 1998-2000 V2.5? -what version should I be using (1999 cummins)? -I recently put 315x75xR17's on ans I know the diameter is 107.91in but it will not calculate my "accurate" speed any suggestions? @Me78569I want to try your daily and see the mpgs cause I've taken a large hit Since I'm at sea level with a stock turbo do you recommend 12% increase on can bus fueling? Guys, I am so far behind right now. I have found where the app updates are in the download section. However, where/how do we download the tunes that are posted? Do we need to plug the Quad into the compute like when we are updating it? Also, how can we post our tunes? Is there an export feature that I have missed in my absence? I am currently using a Samsung galaxy tab for the guages, do i download the tunes from the website onto that in the Quad app? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Going on a road trip today and would like to do some testing. Thank you, JD

All right guys I got an update, I got the new ARP head studs installed!! That took a couple hours in the 90 degree heat!!! I also installed the injectors with everything torqued down to spec. Also adjusted the valve lash while I was in there. Then I went to fire up the truck the truck started after being bled however it had a horrible miss. I loosened all the lines and every line but three affected the idle so I realized cylinder three was the cylinder that had a miss. I then took everything back apart and switched injectors with cylinder three with the cylinder one injector everything looked good reassembled it and now I have a miss in cylinder one, I believe I may have been shipped a faulty injector...... What do you guys think? This is beyond frustrating I now am becoming a pro and when I get a new injector I will get to do it yet again. Hopefully third time is the charm?
