  3. Mine only died with #1 fuel and temps 45ºf+a couple times but that rarely ever happens... And no there has to be throttle input and/or rpm requirements met for quad to fuel, it can't do anything at idle.. What % are you starting your can bus fueling at and how much low boost smoke do you have?
  4. @dirty830 mine has done that for years, ever since I put in larger injectors. It or worse the warmer the ambient temp.also worse with#1 fuel. I tried to get rid of it for a while. Lee (contagious) and I talked about Few things and tried a few things with no success or further ideas... Funny part is if it does it at 45mph it'll do out until I stop moving... If It does it at 10mph it'll do out until I stop.. No matter how long it takes.. If I coast from 70mph it will lope until I get to a stop..and it appears yours did the same, once you stop it stops... Strange

  6. @Carbur8tr I haven't checked injector yet but like I said the tip on injector line has very small pitting..just picked up a set (used). They are getting shipped out today... I think that's my issue. But I will find out soon.. I will check my injector when I do lines and o rings thanks for the advice
  7. I have tried every combination of to spec, a tad over, a lot over, along with different orders of tightening... I didn't change o rings because I have a cr head with custom tubes and the o rings that came with injectors are for vp tubes... But they are also only 5k miles old and I inspected closely and they looked great, then put a dap of oil on before I popped them in....
  8. First time I got them from case ih for about $6 each, tonight I made them from 1/4"fuel line. Worked great I have tried everything but a new o ring... I had a time getting this one to seal after rebuild as well.. I have a feeling the line is bad.. There is a tiny bit of pitting on the end of the line, I even tried sanding it with 800-1000-1500 sand paper... I have tried about a dozen times or more.. On the look for a line. I think @dieselautopower is sending me new o rings soon.... I hope Looks good! Looks like a very slight haze?? Mine are about a third the amount of haze compared to my 6x.013"

  10. @Mopar1973Man think that is what was causing all your issues with missing and stuff that you and Nick were trying to constantly track down? I just re did my valve lash. Took my time as double checked it.. They are spot on.. I just replaced the rubber seals in the return tee... Man that is a pisspoor design!
  11. So the fuel leak seems to have stopped... But here's my current issue after injector install... Hard starts.. If it sits More than 5 minutes it cranks a lot. Then it just fires up, usually. Sometimes after sitting a long time up to 30 seconds of cranking.then it just fires up and runs great. Shut it off and it will fire right back up no issue. I noticed the return tee at the back of the block was damp with fuel I was thinking this could very well be my issue. Nose up it starts really hard, nose down it is kinda hard. But here is the kicker... I feel like the other day my oil level way halfway in between add and full and today it is exactly at full, no signs of water and doesn't smell like fuel so maybe I checked it right after I shut it off or added and forgot I added... Thoughts?
  12. @Mopar1973Man if it worked as a switch, when the ecm was fooled with the high idle switch in 6cyl mode, wouldn't the oil pressure rise on the dash, just like the temp falls? If it worked as a sender then the op would be unchanged with any position on the high idle switch..
  13. Could be the tone ring or enciter ring on the cam. To replace you have to remove cam. Might be others that know more but that seems plausible to me
  14. Mine has had a smarty and my oil pressure seems to work as a sender rather than switch. I have not had the most recent Flash from Mopar. Also this. Just kind of crossed my mind. there are kind of two things I was thinking about oil temp. does anyone have any idea what oil temps a loaded semi truck runs? And also when these trucks were made when these trucks were made synthetic, or conventional oils for that matter we're not nearly as advanced as they are now. I feel that they can withstand a little higher temperature than oils 20 years ago. and also for that matter typically pickup trucks with diesel engines get their oil changed way sooner than then the oil needs to be changed anyway.
  15. I saw it threaded onto them but couldn't come up with how I could use it I guess lol... Anyway I did a thing tonight, 0-100 on my daily tune with no wire tap...   17. On my daily tune they are as high as the slider will let them be I believe.. 18 22 25 30 30 I will look up my extreme one..That's the tune I was on for data log.
  18. On my daily, or mpg tune I have timing pretty well maxed in all rpm settings with this for the other settings... Maybe I should bump them up, but was kind of hesitant with the 12cm housing on the hx35. Thinking I'm going to put on my 14cm and open that thing up a little!
  19. I just made one.. 150% across the board, 1800 tap maxed at 1% throttle, 0psi, stock timing +1º I'll try it out in a bit to see if it smokes
  20. I have not looked at this data log but this is on my extreme setting.. It runs the pump up to the max, lol.. If when I let off I go to neutral, it will die ha ha never had this before but have seen where people do. extreme.csv This starts at 100% fuel and up to 150% by 26psi with a 1500 stretch pump tap. It smoked off the line then cleaned up quickly to a haze a little thicker than my last video.. I can't hardly make this thing smoke.. @Me78569can you help me build a "smoke tune" just to see what it'll do? I had one before but It must have been on my other device I no longer use
  21. I had contagious injectors.. And I would have smoked out the highway with them in the exact same situation... And would have had significantly less power
  22. Here is a short video on my daily tune that starts at 80% fueling with 1250 wire tap.. This is 45 to 75 wot in 4th gear..   24. It's just a head... Had to have a custom intake plate made to house map abs iat sensors, luckily I have a buddy that works with cnc machines all day, even had the miles at overhaul engraved into it if you look closely at the second picture..... And also had to get custom crossover tubes... There is little to no gains anywhere I just got it cheap... $500 ready to run with new guides and seats and no cracks...
