  1. I can't wait until I can get some good videos and logs! Will likely be next weekend at best..need to get the injector line to stop leaking and will warm up to 30s next week so I can get #2 back in it for a fair comparison! @Me78569 I didn't but they are also only 5k miles old on brand new tubes and I put a dab of oil on them all at I popped into place... I guess I will have to get a hold of scheid to see if they can get me new ones since factory ones don't seem to be the same as mine.. I have a cr head on mine with custom tubes and the o rings that came with my injectors didn't match
  2. 1,2 and 4 lines off change cleaned up tip with 800, 1000, and 1500 grit paper then loosened all the blue clamps put back in tightened to spec.... Still leaks on #2.. Loosened and re torqued (again) still leaks.... Ugh I give up

  4. Just to be clear. 44ftlbs is the correct torque? I ment 28 ft/lbs Idk why I said 44.. Either way is that right?
  5. Well that line is still leaking... Guess I'll have to take it all the way off and start over on that set of 3 lines.. I have loosened and tightened 4 times now with no success
  6. How is everyone's start up with higher pops? Cold and hot and at what ambient temps?
  7. @dirty830 did you say cold at 60ºf? It was 90º colder than that here couple times last week I'llcheck it in the morning... Fingers crossed it's dry

  9. Not sure if this is the right place to post but lately I have been losing connection with iquad quite often... Sometimes it seems like I hit a bump and it happens others are just random.. Connections and wires are good and clean and dry! Any ideas?
  10. I think it's stopped.I will check again tomorrow. They are all torqued correctly, even just had my torque wrench cheeked out and its dead on! Anyway at first it sprayed out over the whole engine and was missing but that's all gone now, just never had one seep out like this I guess.. But other than the hard starts, that may be related to the#1 fuel, everything is great.. I was able to raise my daily tune 10% across the board and have a really high timing curve with no ill effects and practically 0 smoke anywhere even wot and its crazy power... Like break tires loose at 60mph on dry fairly clean concrete.....
  11. Well, still a lot of learning but here's what I know so far.... Less smoke (a lot), a lot more power, idle seems cleaner, starts a little harder (extra couple cranks) but I am in no way saying these are definitive because at the same time I switched to #1 fue and the temps plummeted to up to 25ºf BELOW 0. I am not going to make any set in stone opinions until I can get a full tank of #2 and temps around 30 for a while so it might be a while lol On a side note my 2 injection line is still seeping at the head, I think I'm going to have to take it apart and make sure everything is ok and put it back together
  12. No opinion yet.. Sprung a leak on #2 injection line and sprayed fuel everywhere and had to fix that and clean it up at 10 p.m. With temperature at -17ºf so that was fun....

  14. exactly! haha i can work on hot sharp heavy dangerous stuff at work all day and always turn out fine but i cant make it through family Christmas without nearly losing a finger.
  15. Currently -16º f with night time low supposed to be -20º f.. Supposed to stay before 0ºf until the end of the week, including highs, with the exception of high of +8º on Tuesday ?! Well.... I sliced it with a box cutter the other day.. Wasn't very pleasant... Half embarrassed to say it happened trying to open a damn Christmas toy for my 1 year old ha ha
  16. Im more than willing to give my opinion after i get some time on mine.. so far i have 20 miles on it at temp near -10ºf the whole time so so far i have no opinion..
  17. Does your ecm have high idle turned on? Does it go into high idle on its own when ambient conditions are sufficient to trigger it?

  19. Yup also explains why it doesn't happen for 5+ minutes.. Warm up mode set to 120ºf
  20. Honestly if it isn't going to hurt anything or runaway I don't care. Just was nervous could be vp,ecm, or injector issue
  21. This is not the case. It will do it only after running just fine on 3 cylinder for 3-5 minutes, then is random, not in concert with grid heater cycle Exactly, you can hear it in the video I posted.. It only does it for less than a second
  22. It has never done it before(although has been overhauled and new injectors since last winter) and its only a blip... Also only does it after starting to gain temp and run well not right off the bat when it's struggling... Did you happen to watch the video @Me78569?
