  1. Yeah it's already coming back to me in the short conversation here
  2. Thanks for the info fellas! I think I can handle that! I just don't know enough about this topic to diagnose without some help!
  3. No I don't but I was going to ask around on Monday.. But I also have not done anything with a/c since school 7 years ago, so idk what I'm even looking at on gauges anymore lol
  4. My experience with this was in my old 98 1500 5.9 (360) got the truck with about 160,000. It was well taken care of but as most of the Mopar v8 engines it burned some oil. I had to add about a quart every 2000k. I started using the restore and after the second oil change I never had to add oil again... Maybe I'm lucky, maybe I'm a an exception or maybe I'm just a liar, but not very many LA engines don't burn oil and not to many suddenly stop either.. It ended up being the best running 2nd gen gas I ever drove (my family has had quite a few).
  5. i have a 2001 Ram 2500. Over the summer i overhauled my motor. I had the a/c system discharged before i started. When i had it apart i had all of the open lines plugged or capped. I dont pretend o know a lot about a/c systems but I know enough to understand and talk about the system. After i got the truck back together i had it recharged and i had them pull and hold vacuum for 25 minutes and it held no problem. it worked great the remainder of the summer and fall. now im starting to notice issues, first thing i noticed was that the condenser get burning hot almost instantly. like so hot you cant touch it. I noticed that about 3 weeks ago. the other day i left my truck idle while i went into the store (10 minutes) with the defrost on. when i came back out i was just starting to pull out and all the sudden the the pressure relief valve popped open for a couple seconds then it did it again about 10 seconds later and i shut off defrost and it stopped. it did that again when i forgot to shut off defrost when getting subway the other day. then today i turned it on and was feeling around what i assumed was the orifice tube (behind passenger battery) and it was burning hot on one side and barely cool on the other, and then suddenly it popped off pressure beneath the accumulator somewhere. my current thoughts are possibly it got contaminated while apart and the orifice tube is clogged up or the high pressure switch is bad???? Im not sure how exactly to diagnose and i dont want to throw parts at it. any insight is appreciated! thank you
  6. So I'm beginning to think that this is possibly an injection issue. Today I noticed while cruising at high RPM, I went in for at nearly 70 mile per hour just cruising and there was kind of a Lope if you will. I turned it down to the stock setting and it still did it just not as bad. I think that the can bus and wire tap fueling are just amplifying it. I was really thinking that I might have got my issues figured out but it kind of seems like I still have injector problems. Actually right now I'm cruising 45 at just over 1500 RPM and under light load it's loping at this RPM to
  7. I will double check the other levels in the morning but I haven't got it to do it on canbus or stock levels...and it is bucking from 22-2700rpm when doing HARD but NOT WOT acceleration. I think I noticed it slightly on wot pull once tonight but not sure... It's almost like chugging.. And I have more than 10psi at the time it happens but I have been meaning to lower that and lower the minimum pump tap% as well for this tune. Also has done it on multiple tunes with multiple tap, timing, and fueling settings...I have only noticed it on wire tap levels
  8. Here ya go iQuad-Extreme-2017-11-21-09.10.032054464996.json
  9. So I have gradually pulled the wire tap clear down to 1300 and there's no change. It's almost as if my wiretap is turning on and off for some reason. It should come on at 10 psi minimum 25% I would think that I could feel it hit but I cannot. I am going to look over the wiring and make sure that tap has not come loose or something because that's kind of what it feels like.
  10. DUH! LOL I guess I didn't even think of that! I will try that tonight! I'm guessing that it's the ticket. Especially since it even died 2 times after hard pulls now! Thanks I've spent to many hours working on this damn truck!
  11. Seems to be 2200-2700 ish rpm not under full throttle fueling would be 75-100% depending on tune and seems like only on wire tap levels yes
  12. Well I did that with little to no change..I'm down to timing safe enough for a truck with a dollar tree head gasket and used head bolts
  13. ? I will try that out tomorrow! I will definitely get to work on time lol thanks @Me78569 I assume you mean what's labeled max load timing offset? In the extreme tune it is already 2.5º of a maximum 3º Extreme.json
  14. Here's a log using the "extreme large injector tune" from the download area. Was on highest level first hard pull then level 0 second and level 3 there after... It misses the first time, I can't notice it stock, and level three I'm not sure if I can feel it or not maybe slightly datalogextreme.csv
  15. Ok so here's a data log and disregard the tunes I just posted up here is what I had with this data log The miss is terrible under strong accelerating. Full throttle isn't as bad but 35-75% throttle is horrible. Around line 1388 the truck actually died happened twice today after hard pull and letting off has never done that before... 17. sorry wrong thread
  18. Ok so I think I have my other issues figured out. After a long night of completely overhauling my compound piping, I must not have got the snap ring in the back of my hx35 fully and blue the housing off of it at about 70 PSI. Which in turn ruined my compressor wheel but luckily I had my old cast wheel that I just dropped in there today. But now I'm seeming to have another issue almost seems tuning related. When I'm accelerating hard at steady throttle around 2500 rpm I am getting what seems to be a miss or bucking. If I accelerate harder it works out of it but then it comes back in around 3400 but then it comes back in around 3400 RPM like you would expect when it gets to the top of its fueling. It just kind of feels the same for a small stretch between 2200 and 2500 rpm I have noticed that in my daily tune and my go fast tune. I went to look at the data log and for some strange reason it said max timing 510º not sure why or how it can even say that but I tried to export and like usual the app stopped responding. I will post up my Tunes here shortly but it almost seems like a timing issue although my timing isn't overly dramatic I don't think
  19. Coincidence or not, I don't know, but ever since the last update my app has stopped responding or froze way more often than before. Not sure if the base tune could really have anything to do with that, I don't think it could, but it's definitely happening to be honest I'm doing speech to text right now as it's trying to load and right now it won't even reload. The progress bar is just going across and it keep saying variables failed to update after it froze randomly. Not sure what's going on going to shut off my truck and restart it and see what happens.

  21. I think I'll stay where im at for a few tanks of fuel see how she does... I'm up 1.5º from where I was yesterday
  22. I'm at 18 21 23.5 26.2 29 Load timing offset 2.5 Low psi reduct 2.5 Reduct salon scaling 100 Light advance 5 Load limit 32 Pretty high but It runs ok
  23. I just set mine to 1º higher than all these right before you posted this.. Maybe I should back off 1/2º but I still haven't hit a spot that it seems to lull or leg
  24. Lol that should be enough I guess ha ha
  25. What would everyone consider the highest timing that is safe for a dd tune (that I occasionally rod on) at cruising rpm (1750) Towing tune Race tune Currently on my dd tune I'm running 21.5-22 actual ( 62mph) and it runs good, I can "hear" the high timing.. Yes I do have studs That's going to take a Heck of injector with a 66mm isn't it? Lol
