I'm not crowing here one bit but I'm really glad I went mechanical lift pump, no doubt fuel shops here know VP's inside out but whether they know the specs required for a Ram I don't know and I'd say £1500 + to get one from the USA I really hope you get this sorted out and don't have to do a VP

Ah now that is interesting as I use win 10 and the right click option paste as a link which is ctrl+v actually pastes as plain txt. ctrl+shift+v is actually described as paste as plain text and guess what that pastes as a link Microsoft garbage

Another radiator leak thread, this the season
Nail on the head there Quarry where I used to work as Mobile Plant maintenance supervisor set on a 16 year old kid, zero interest in the job, late every day, first off the job I'm fitting a stick cylinder to a Cat 349F on my own, he's in the office on his phone all afternoon, he only came out of the office to ask to be driven to the canteen so he could clock out and go home, I said to him "oh your legs work then" he burst into tears and over the next few days tried his damnest to get me the boot for abuse, area manager asked him to tell him what I actually said and did, kid says "oh your legs work then " needless to say he was told to go find another job as a quarry is no place for snowflakes

Quick Connectors and the Art of AWG Cable Ratings
TBH you'd have a hard time losing the packs we had, you could just about lift one pack at a time, built in on/off key so the pack is off until everything connected and ready and if some dumbass has connected wrong it gives a warning and doesn't go up in smoke Used by Nato and the UK MOD to start planes

Quick Connectors and the Art of AWG Cable Ratings
Where I used to work before going it on my own we had a jump start pack NATO 200 Ultra Heavy Duty Jump Start | Powervamp which was 2 of the Nato 200 together in a trolley Used for starting large earthmoving stuff, this pack was all Anderson connectors and each pack was 2450 peak amps, Anderson connectors connected both together then another lead connected to the vehicle to be started although we had several leads one of which had a Cat connector on one end for Cat stuff, I cannot remember which size Anderson but the cabling was around little finger thickness, sorry I know that's of no real use but that's all I can remember, the terminals were maybe 3/8th wide on the connection side Connect these 2 packs to a Cat 775 dumptruck and hit the starter and the cabling would jump but never overheat, Cat 775 are V12 27litre with twin starters. Also having some winch experience it will always be a trade off between sensible sized cabling and connectors and sometimes having to double rig to bring the electrical load down Sorry that's of no use technically

Tuner for an already tuned Cummins
Yep thats me I've never done a thing with my quad other than load and go As for the 315's and 3.55's when towing and around town I turn off OD and whenever I can lock the convertor this puts me at 2100rpm at 60mph ish give or take and engine load between 20 and 30% again that's an ish number depending on grades. and EGT around 600f to 700f I did 151 miles yesterday from a full tank and refilled first thing this morning with 47 litres which cost me £70.50. 47 litres is a little over 10 gallons UK so yesterday it did 15mpg UK gallons, I've done around 80 mile today and just looking at the fuel gauge I'm close to half what I used yesterday but today I didn't turn off the OD and just locked the convertor when on the motorway which was around 60miles of the journey, load around 50%, fuel temps at 88f, EGT at 800F to 900F, trans at 138f, again all figures are an ish as they change all the time but they are viewed averages, I also turned the quad down from 9 to 7 on my towing tune I need injectors but I haven't the time to figure a tune out to keep the 47re from exploding

Tuner for an already tuned Cummins
The Quad can be complicated or it can be really easy, At the moment I don't have time to mess with mine at all, loaded a tune from here and all done and my truck is now what it should have been from the factory the difference is night and day. My truck has a 47RE and I have it set to show slip, mine doesn't show torque lockup as I've already got all gauges used on the particular display I prefer, I think there is another with more but I get on well with the one I use. After M73M was saying about MPG I sort of checked mine yesterday and very rough calcs I'm not impressed, I think around 12mpg (UK Gallons) towing 3k kg or around 6600lb but on a mix of motorway (highway) and normal roads (not town) I'm going to monitor more closely I know my truck needs injectors and Ideally a set of 7x10's as I'm not buying injectors twice but my trans is stock so will have to figure out tuning sooner or later I don't know about connecting battery chargers other than the instructions says to disconnect the quad

Radiator leak
Not as I could see through the neck but I'll bet there is scale in the rad, I'll have a better look when I get time, as I said I always use Cat ELC premix so for the last 20k or so (since I've had the truck) that would have stopped corrosion and scale and I have a gallon of Cat cooling system flush so it will get some of that when the weather is a bit warmer

24v partial pedal issue from hell!
At $6700 in lost $$$ I'd be personally taking that VP back and it wouldn't matter how far they were away, in fact I'd drive the truck to them with the crusty VP that's on it now and demand they fit there POS and make it run, I can't say on here what I would really do but it wouldn't be pretty or nice, needless to say I'd bolt their pump to a 3ft piece of chain before I left

Tuner for an already tuned Cummins
Now that's figures I could do with seeing as your gallons are smaller I'd be at 35mpg ish

Radiator leak
Did about 20 miles yesterday and the truck definitely runs cooler with the new radiator, there is a hill that I have to drive quite regular that's maybe 2 miles from home, not a huge grade but maybe 1/2 mile long, temp was 186F at the top versus 190F with the old radiator, temp still gets to 190 as that's what the thermostat is but it does take longer, towing tomorrow so we'll see what the temp is again on a regular route so I know before the truck would be 190F or a tad over. I couldn't flush the cooling system as all our outside taps are frozen as are hose pipes which are like iron bars, I'll give it a good flush using Caterpillar cooling system cleaner once temps rise a bit One thing I did notice is the old rad weighs a ton

24v partial pedal issue from hell!
It's not all the same trust me and you are now in the right place to get it figured out Like M73M says you'll not be treated like that using DAP or any other vendor on here as far as I know, they wouldn't be here if they ripped anyone off And as been said before I also hate it when hard working people get rolled, I would guess turd at PDD may wish he took your call

Squirrels Got Me Good
This is the very reason I redo every electrical connector with deutsch and as @Silverwolf2691 said DT series. is because they are weathertight but come apart really easy with no silly tools other than a hook and a small flat blade screwdriver and I mean small like a clockmakers screwdriver, the hook pulls out the lock on one side of the connector, small screwdriver releases the lock tang for each terminal, all parts reusable except maybe the terminals I have every terminal release tool known to man all junk and I always end up chopping the rubbish out and going to deutsch I will say I have zero experience with any other system of connectors

24v partial pedal issue from hell!
I'm no expert here but correct me if I'm wrong. You swapped in a Cummins with manual trans into a van with ecu etc basically everything needed to run it ? Did you use the dodge APPS (throttle pedal) or did you use something else If used the dodge APPS is there an OBD port to connect a good scanner to and check for codes and also to see live data on what the APPS is doing or are you using the engine diagnostic port, live data should find what it is if it's a electronic problem, also I can't remember whether my Snap On Modis shows timing figures or not but it would be useful to see whats what If you didn't use the dodge APPS what did you use Is see you have had problems with the 5v supply, is this still low ? Are all earths present and good as bad earths can cause some strange stuff

Radiator leak
It arrived inbetween xmas and new year but because of Covid I wasn't well enough to fit it. One good thing about this forum is thread highjacks/derails whatever you want to call it aren't treated like you just dropped off of planet Zog, I used to be a member of a Mopar forum here and it had mods keeping threads on track....... Like the Gestapo err boring

Radiator leak
Slight change of subject, I finally fitted the new radiator today in pouring rain as it really started to leak yesterday, good job I'd got hoses as the bottom hose was past it, no holes in either so in the bed box as spares. Also noticed the intercooler hoses are a little soft so going to get a set. Some corrosion evident in the cooling system, thermostat housing and bottom hose outlet on the block was a bit crusty, this must have occurred before me as I always use Cat ELC premix coolant, I'll run it for a few months and then send a sample off for analysis

Tuner for an already tuned Cummins
Sorry I should have added a bit more, the quad will do everything you ask in the above list and more, I've not spent any time messing with mine just loaded a towing tune and a DD tune for stock engine which I found on here, I use level 9 of 9 on the towing tune always, truck just gets up and moves, no messing about EGT never over 1000f and my truck is desperate for a set of injectors, best thing I've ever bought
