  1. I am thinking about picking up some injectors. Anyone have experience with DAP Aftermarket injectors? Here's what I'm looking at. Obviously I'm looking for a lower cost Injectors, I have stock now. I'm running a 150gph pump, turbo upgrade is after the injectors. Set of 6 Diesel Auto Power 125HP Aftermarket Performance Injectors for Dodge 24 valve Cummins. 7 hole (0.0095 inch holes) SAC style. Compatible for years 1998.5-2002. Installation kit included: (Injector connecting tube removal tool/nut, copper sealing washers, and o-rings for connector tube). new copper washers
  2. Starting to consider clunk's fuel cooler mod. Makes sense
  3. ?Yep you're exactly right idk why I was thinking temp from the pressure sensor.. Must be this Texas heat. Thanks for the correction.
  4. I had an interesting thought about temp readings. I have my fuel sensor located on my fuel filter cap. I wonder it it picks up extra temp from the filter housing. Maybe a 1/2" online before the vp44 would be a more accurate reading. Interesting result just now. It's about 104* out and was sitting, engine on, eating a quick bite. IAT is about 174* and fuel temps began to rise from ~130* to 154*. I had 1/2 tank of fuel so drove to filler up. After filling I started the truck and fuel temp was at 161*! About 3 min later I was reading 134* and is at 132* now with IAT at 176*. Maybe that hot fuel return really is the issue with this blasted heat!
  5. Well I filled up and it hasn't gone above 132 yet. It does seem intake air temp is warmer than I'd expect, especially with a cold air intake. Maybe I need to clean and re-lube my air filter this weekend. Here is my datalog if yall have any input; this is after an hour drive.
  6. I'll give that a try. I am just under 1/2 tank so I'll filler up and see if there's a difference and let yall know. I do notice at idle it rises, but when moving it drops to the 150's so it's cooling and hasn't gone above 163*. Still seems high though. I have the stock tubing from the tank into the 150 Raptor pump but 1/2" from the pump to the filter to the vp44. No problems with pressure. I even deleted the fuel heater (not sure if that was on all the time or just at a certain temp.. Anyway I'll see how it acts tomorrow.
  7. For the first time my quadzilla was pegging my fuel temp over 160 and crept to 163 I was getting back to work so the truck is off. Is there any thing I can do about this? What could be the source? I haven't had gauges before now so who knows if this has happened before. Thoughts and ideas? Thanks!
  8. Sell so far so good guys. The 285/75/16 tires are doing the trick. The grip is much better and happy with the tires. A big part of this was that I had highway tires on before and now have all terrain. Straight lines vs cross tread. Now the only thing that I have to figure out is getting the speedometer in sync. The new revolutions/mile are 614.306 rather than 661.933, a 7.753% difference. I'll see if a dealership can update the pcm with that handheld odb2 tool. Othwise sounds like I'll need a tool to update it myself.
  9. I put a set of 285/75/16 all terrain tires on it today. Hopefully that helps some. I'll review the tire pressure too if it is a problem next time. I appreciate yalls input!
  10. I notice it now that I have added the performance mods to the truck. Basically love everything except boat ramps, and I'm at the lake a lot here in Texas. I was reading that a lot of 2wd dodges have this issue. One guy mentioned this. Still reading into it. https://www.jegs.com/p/Powertrax/Powertrax-No-Slip-Traction-Systems/744476/10002/-1
  11. Well today I was pulling a .. Ahem.. JETSKI out of the lake and for the life of me I could not gain traction. Pretty rediculous. Finally I used the ebrake trick to ease it out. Cmon though, a jetski! Anyway my truck performance add-ons are listed below. My question is, you think just tires are my problem? If so what are some good tires I can put on my 16" stock wheels? Or, if tires aren't it, other suggestions?
