What type of clutch?
Ok fellas you know I'm having problems with my tranny that I just bought not too long ago! So I'm thinking since I'm going to be down while waiting on flick to get me another tranny!!! I was wondering what type of clucth to put in! You see all the mods I've done to it, I'm turning over 400hp and the clutch in is kinda weak although it's considered heavy duty! I might as well put in a heavier duty clutch since I'm tore down that far! So give me y'alls expert opionions!!! Thanks in advance!

Side tappit cover replacement
Oh heck man I didn't know there was already a post up or I wouldn't have started this one! I'm having to replae mine because it's leaking like someone has a faucet on! I'm waiting on my brother to get back with a puller so I can yank the vp44 off so I have total access to everything, it looks like it would be heck to get the front bolt out without pulling to vp44! --- Update to the previous post... Well I finally got the truck back together and that dang tappit cover gasket had a crack in it! It's sitting back in the shop purring or actually (rattling) like she always had! I'm going to bring it up to tempature, shut it off change the oil, fill her up and add some 2 stroke to her and see how she does then! I'll get back on later and do a write up on it! Did everything myself not a bad job but had a mechanic friend of mine put the vp44 back on! I had a bad experience once putting one on, so I'll tear down but refuse to reinstall the vp44 from now on!

Counting my Blessings!!!
Sometimes people sit back and complain about all the little stuff that goes on in their lives! Stuff that when you look back at it, isn't even worth complaining about! Then sometimes people take a look at all their blessings! Well today I'm looking at my blessings! I'm not a very religious person like I need to be! But the good LORD has really blessed me and keeps me in HIS hands! The reason I'm saying this, is that at about 3am I crawled in bed from work, was sleeping and my 7 yr old daughter was in bed with me! At about 5am I heard an electrical pop an a bright flash of light woke me up! So laying there a few minutes, eyes adjusting I don't see anything unusual! Then I look up at my ceiling fan that was on high, was barely turning! I get up turn the light switch off and feel the fan! It was so hot, I couldn't touch it! Therefore that was my first blessing of the day! The second blessing was this afternoon! We get a call from my sister, her husband (my bil) went up to our family cabin on Greers Ferry lake here in AR! He took my nephew, his youngest son, and a few friends up there. We have a little cabin and 2 house trailers, one for my parents an the other is my brothers. Well they were going turkey hunting, and my nephew was sleeping in my parent's trailer! About 3pm everyone loads up to go hunting again, leaving my nephew asleep, they get down the road and decide to go back and wake him up to bring him on the hunting trip! Well after they leave, unknown to us the cause yet, the 2 trailers caught on fire and were completely destroyed!!! Everyone is unhurt but we lost our getaway place! Thankfully my nephew, bil an all friends were unhurt! That is why I am blessed twice in one day! So grab your loved ones, hug and love them a little more and don't let little things get in the way, because we never know, when it may be the last time we see them!

ScangaugeII an OBDII
It's working out pretty good! I'm in the process of cleaning up my truck! Ordering some gauges, then I'm going to post more pics of the truck! The sgII is working good, I'm able to watch some other gauges that I normally don't watch, an I'm watching my fuel economy a little better! I've been trying to make average of 16mpgs! But that isn't too easy to do lately! Seems like everyother day, I'm pulling some type of trailer with varying weights! Heaviest load lately has been my backhoe, lightest trailer today was my 5x16 four wheeler trailer with 10 wrought iron chairs and 2 wrought iron tables!

Gauges
Ok I know I have the edge juice with attitude and cts! I'm using it to monitor all my gauges! But I'm thinking about putting in a 3 gauge pillar mount, going with 60psi boost, 100psi fuel and egt gauges! What brand do you fellows recommend using? What is the best?
-
Anyone running an Edge Insight CTS?
I have the Edge JWA and CTS, I love it! The only problem is on dtc's it doesn't access them! It monitors everything else great! Just doesn't have the diagnostic features!

Truck sitting at garage... no work done...
Well at my shop, if the customer wants to bring in their own parts, they are welcome to! Actually I would rather them to bc if the parts have a warranty the warranty is in their name! If the part goes bad then I get paid to replace it an I'm not having to cover the time! It shouldn't matter who is furnishing the parts, the man brought his truck in for repair, he asked for it to be fixed!!! If the shop is really a repair shop and needs the business, the way the economy is today, they would be happy to complete any job!!!
