Boy did I do something stupid this morning, and it aggrevates the crap outta me!!! I was backing down my drive way and got to close to the edge and slipped down an embankment sideways and backwards!!! Needless to say I now need driver side dually fender!!! It was a remanned engine built by a company in Texas. Not going to name them just yet! But its not Jasper! The warranty that they have me was 3 yrs unlimited mileage, parts and labor. What really pisses me off is they have been giving me the run around, the other day I asked them if I could pay a deposit and get a new engine shipped out and they make a decision on the bad engine that way my customer wouldn't be down quite as long. Hey fellas remember 4 months ago that I posted about a guy that has an 08 ram 2500 6.7ctd and he didn't do proper servicing of the engine? Well guess what.... I now have it in the shop again!!! The remanned engine that we put in has FAILED!!! But this time it wasn't due to lack of servicing. I've personally have done the servicing every 5000 miles. So we pulled the engine out drop the pan, I find rod bearings in the bottom of the pan, number 5 rod bearing had failed! The company that we bought the engine from is now giving me the run around. I'm highly aggregated at the moment!!!

Being in the wrecker business! I see a lot of accidents, and hear horror stories of no insurance or lack of insurance. I highly recommend that you carry uninsured as well as underinsured insurance. Friend was involved in an accident, she had a 11 Toyota 4runner that was totalled in the accident, the person that hit her only had a maximum payout of 25000$,but bc she had underinsured insurance her insurance company had to kick in and pay off her vehicle! I carry 300,000 600,000 300,000 thousand dollar liability insurance on my personal vehicles and million, 3 million, million dollar liability insurance on my commercial vehicles! Official mileage was 935 miles. Made it home at 745 tonight and that was after I toured the USS ALABAMA and the USS DRUM and the aircraft pavallion! All of it was awesome btw! Trip has been good! 130 miles from home! Averaging around 12 MPG averaging 77 MPH pulling a 25 ft tandem dual goose neck trailer loaded with an 08 ram 1500 crew cab! Ready to be home and hit the hay!!! Will be roughly 925 miles since 2 am!!!Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

I just replaced an AD 165 that has been on less than 2 yrs. It was blowing fuses, growling, and the quick connects were sucking air causing me a lot of problems. Mike told me to call Eric at Vulcan, I ordered the new Fuel Lab velocity 200 with fuel line kit. The install was a lot easier and quicker than the ad. That's just my opinion.Also it has adjustable pressure preset at 18 psi. It can handle up to 1000 HP upgrades! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

Think its fixed for the time being. It has the Vulcan jeep liberty fuel upgraded module.

Ok fellas I need help on a 07.5 2500 6.7. When you first crank the truck being cold, it runs fine. When it reaches operating tempature, it dies. Using diagnostic tool the fuel rail pressure is running about 7500 psi at idle cold as it warms up it drops to zero. After it hits around 2200 it dies totally. I've replaced the CP3, fuel rail, limiting valve, rail sensor, injectors, junked the AD165 replaced it with new Velocity 200 fuel system from Eric at Vulcan, new plumbing on low side! I have a 12k warn on my gn. I have 2 31T truck batteries on mine. I ran a wire to keep the batteries charged while driving down the road and don't have any power issues.Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

The first mechanic to work on it was a Ford mechanic. He put the pump on but supposedly left the key out! They had it towed to another mechanic who supposedly put the right key in and it developed this problem. He told the owner to get the truck away bc he doesn't know what's wrong with it! The pump is supposed to be remanned.... I will take it off and send it back and see if they will give me another one. I doubt it though since I will be the 3rd one to work on it!
