  1. Do you guys think it will be california legal. I have been dying to try this, to prevent the oily mess.
  2. Hey guys, just wondering what boost readings you all are getting when using scangauge 2, and edge comp, i get like 14psi boost showing on scangauge after changing map sensor with a genos garage unit, old one read .-0.7 at idl, and would track slightly behind actual shown on isspro gauge, new one tops out at 22psi on scangauge. Thanks
  3. Yes blue chip does have an economy vp that gives clean power, but when i removed the apps to install bd cover on vp, i did not see any markings on pump other than standard numbers and such.
  4. Are there maybe injection pumps that have different fuel solenoids on them, sometimes you hear of 2 diff trucks running same chip or tuner, one smokes and the other one has more power. Seems to be the same with all including edge and quad, some people boost to 30, and some including myslf only 25psi.
  5. I do not believe it will, the connectors are different, the one i have is for 2000 and 2001. sry would love to sell it to ya.
  6. I think all fueling boxes tap the pump. programmers are timing and duration boxes i believe. i have a edge EZ im gonna sell when i install comp, its a timing and fuel duration box with no tap, 65hp 180torque.
  7. Ok i did, 61 bucks not bad, coming out of Washington so it shouldn't take long. Thanks
  8. Ok that makes it fun, says to use wire closes to block, im sure they will be side by side and i want to choose the correct one, i guess there is no answer, can you tell me if damage will result if the wrong wire is tapped? Thank you for the diagram though, i appreciate it.
  9. I took the plunge, and got the comp, before i install, i have a quick question. What color is the pump wire, as i didnt get the bd cover at this time, instructions say wire at the top, does not state color of wire to hook grey wire to.Thanks in advance guys.
  10. I made new ends usinf 1/0 cable lugs from napa, soldered them on to each cable, then used marine battery terminals which have great corrosion protection. makes for a awesome connection, and no corrosion issues.
  11. I notice while towing in overdrive the engine sounds better than revving in 3rd. but in overdrive the egt's are pretty high if on a grade, and i do notice that in 3rd the egt's drop considerably when rpm's are up.And no the heat shield is not required, there is plenty of air passing by the turbo, and mopar said in another forum, that iat temps will not be any better with heat shield than running without. I agree with the 55-60 while towing, unsafe at speeds some people mention, trailer tires or bearings are not rated for racing, the are under a great load, and heat builds very fast, i have seen them blow on people as i pass them by haha, watching them pick up parts of their nice camper fenders is the best part, the tire will rip your nice trailer or camper to bits.
