Fuel pressure loss after sump install
Brand new filters with the replacement, once the weather calms down I plan to check the FASS pump doing the 5-gallon bucket test on their site. Awesome thanks for the info, I'm going to recheck everything I worked on this past weekend tomorrow hopefully!

Fuel pressure loss after sump install
Just went and idled the truck again and I’m hovering right around 795-805. Guess I have to big of a range earlier

Fuel pressure loss after sump install
Engine load at idle is between 10-15% Engine RPM is 750-800 on my quad. There is a disparity between my quad and gauge cluster as the cluster reads about 500RPM at idle. Currently have a new cluster on the way. No error codes.

Fuel pressure loss after sump install
I have not hooked up a true mechanical gauge at this time, I may have to find one and try however, having both sensors reading the exact same numbers in two separate locations makes me believe they are working as they should. Fuel issues seem to be the current flavor for my truck, ever since I installed my injectors I've had a stutter under light throttle and idle. With hurricane Sally circling over me right now i'm unable to really get out and trouble shoot but I've uploaded a video of the idle and light throttle application. Plan is to reset the APPS check all lines and re-seat the injectors. I'm unable to send my injectors off for pop testing at this time as I am about to drive across country next week and cannot afford the down time (AL to WA). Any other suggestions as to what could be causing this rough idle? It does this regardless of where I have my tune set or what tune i'm running lvl 0 to whatever level I select on tunes from this site and other places.

Fuel pressure loss after sump install
Curious if anyone running a sump vs a straw system has seen a drop in their fuel pressure after install. I have FASS 165G that would always see 16-18 psi no matter how hard I step on the skinny pedal. I just installed a sump into my 54 gallon metal tank and now my pressure sits at 14 and dips to 12 at times. Currently one fuel press sensor ~1 foot before the VP, and the Quad FP sensor is in the FASS pump, both reading within 1 psi of each other.

ECM - And so the search begins
You can read my google reviews regarding Auto Computer Specialist. Absolutely terrible customer service the second they are at fault or questioned on anything. Overall the product they produced was adequate and I have not had any issues in my limited use of the repaired items however, I would pay double the price for a company that values customer service and interaction in the future.

Auto Computer Specialist customer service
I'm not to sure where to place this post as it deals with a company which many of us have dealt with in the past. I've attached my Google review of Auto Computer Specialist (ACS) below as I feel our community needs to know about how terrible the customer service is with these people. I'm not sure if there was a recent change in ownership or management but it has been beyond childish. To the point they are claiming via google reviews I was never a customer and must be mistaken. See attached photos, I have also posted in my original review. All I wanted to do was speak with the owners about the professionalism of Dominic who is the front desk person at ACS. If anyone has questions feel free to ask, I have been beyond understanding with ACS and it's sad that they treat paying customers so terribly. I'm sure there are interactions with ACS I have forgotten about in the review (arguing the existence of an injector harness on a 24v, sending items to wrong customers, not shipping when promised, time management, under quoting)

Front brakes dragging
Both of the front brake lines have been replaced, I threw in the towel and took it to a shop today for some other work on the transmission and asked for the brakes to be inspected. Hopefully they find something.

Front brakes dragging
I did a bleed on the rear brakes this past week, it wasn't a high flow but fluid was coming out until it was nice and clean. I will have to look at this valve as I believe this is the same set-up I have (4x4 w/ABS in rear only drums) The nose does tuck when hard applications however i'm still scratching my head why the passenger side is dragging while the drivers side is not. I'm able to do this by lifting the front end and spinning the wheel with a good kick. Both brakes engage however when off the pedal the drivers side rotates freely while passenger does not.

Bleeding new VP44 and injectors
Thanks I plan to call today and talk with them, it's a very weird stutter. As soon as I give it some throttle the stutter goes away however under light throttle is stumbles. My EGTs are also hanging out around 800 (manifold temp) while cruising 45-50mph boost leak maybe?

Front brakes dragging
The brakes are not pulling at all, I'm going to check the rotors today to ensure they are looking strait etc. I just replaced the caliper and greased the slides in the process. I just flushed the entire system, the caliper has been replaced again. I'm trying to not throw to many parts at it right now, I don't see replacing the drivers side caliper as an option either as the wheel rotates freely!

Bleeding new VP44 and injectors
I assume this requires them to be sent back to DAP to be tested?

Front brakes dragging
I plan to buy a thermometer tomorrow and check temps but by feel the passenger side feels warmer than driver side. Yes I’m 100% positive I’m smelling brake pad after using the brakes for a couple stops, really the smell presents itself after a decent slow down but nothing crazy just as you would normally do heading for a stop light. I assume there is no sort of proportioning valve in the brakes? My truck is 4x4 with 2 wheel ABS in the rear (front disc, rear drums). Quickly running out of ideas, will report back tomorrow.

Bleeding new VP44 and injectors
Truck is finally up and running after getting my items back from ACS, that company is a real piece of work. I'm not sure if they have new owners or what but zero regards to customer service. I've been waiting for over a week now on a promised phone call from the owners to discuss the slew of issues I've dealt with regarding their business. Either way you can see my google review on them, the truck is doing well dealing what I want to classify as a misfire during idle and low throttle applications, never had this before until injectors. LP is providing 16-18 psi under all conditions going to look through lines tomorrow and I'm not having any hard/cold start issues at this time. Any suggestions?

Fluid in transmission solenoid assembly
Got the Solenoid replaced and seems to be working as it should, the replacement was fairly strait forward. Now I'm just tracking down my shifting issues with the truck and trying to find a good balance with the TV cable. There may be more issues to this transmission than I aware of as it never seems to really drop into 4th OD until I let off the throttle (normal driving conditions not WOT etc.)

Front brakes dragging
Little bit of an update on my truck and the brake issue and yes I'm well aware of the benefits in having an exhaust brake. This is a separate issue of the passenger brake dragging, I'm not concerned with more efficient braking at this time. I need to address the fact of after a short drive with normal to light braking applications I can smell the brakes. I have replaced the passenger caliper and both brake lines on the front end. I've bleed the entire system and gone for a drive, the truck drives and stops fine, when I get home and jack the front end up the passenger side brake is noticeably dragging vs driver side when i spin the wheel. Could I be looking at a new brake booster, I'm running out of time sadly to troubleshoot this rig before my trip across the US next month and may resort to paying a shop to investigate and replace

Fluid in transmission solenoid assembly
@Dynamic thank you for the response, could you point me in the right direction for a replacement part? I’m saving up the extra to purchase a transmission from you in the future but need to milk this one while I can!!

Fluid in transmission solenoid assembly
Thanks @IBMobile I'll have to go clean it out again tomorrow and see if the fluid returns. In the event the solenoid fills back up what are you thoughts on the cause?

Bleeding new VP44 and injectors
Thanks I would have been able to turn over the truck today however my nightmare with Auto Computer Specialist has continued and they have either replaced the ECM male connector or the ECM female main connector and now the two items are not connecting. I specifically asked them if my harnesses where tested with my ECM and PCM and they confirmed verbally and over correspondence. This is just one of many many instances I've had with Auto Computer Specialist, I would never recommend them to anyone again unless it was a serious need. I'm waiting to talk with the owner before I compete a full write up of my issues with this company as I feel they deserve one last change to give me strait answers. (I had named company rebuild both PCM and ECM along with the engine and transmission harness although they have also charged me for an injector harness rebuild which I don't agree with)

Fluid in transmission solenoid assembly
Is fluid supposed to accumulate in the transmission solenoid that is attached to the xmsn housing? I have attached the diagram of the connector which plugs into this solenoid, I have cleaned out the plug a few times but fluid keeps re-appearing. Just seems weird that have fluid in a electrical connector. the Main 8-plug connector attaches to the solenoid in question. I did some quick searching and could not find out any information on if this is/is not normal.

Bleeding new VP44 and injectors
Quick question for the experts! Currently working on bleeding my fuel system after installing a new VP44 and some injectors (all from DAP). I've bypassed the relay on my FASS165 because currently i'm unable to bump start the truck with my wiring harness being removed. While having it bypassed I am able to get fuel to flow out of the #5 injector line but that is it, I cracked the lines on #1, #3 as well as the #3 line that connects to the VP also. Does the VP have to be turned over in order to see fuel flow to the other injectors? In my head it makes sense this is the case but I'm looking for input, I hope to have my harness installed tomorrow and maybe turn this pig over finally! -Cheers

Front brakes dragging
This is where I’m at right now, regardless of wanting/needing one I have an issue with the brakes dragging which must be fixed first. I believe it’s a bad caliper at this stage, I’m going to tear it down this weekend and the local parts store has one in stock as well if needed. My last two 6.7’s had the factory exhaust brake and I loved it, my most recent 6.7 I put a inline BD Diesel EB in after the stock turd blower failed and I upgraded. The in-line was a pain at the time as I could not get it to seal up completely which messed with the back pressure. In the future I will address the desire for an EB and will 100% go PACbrake this time around.

Front brakes dragging
All of the scenarios sound like a bad day, my fluid looks clear the the caliper is brand new. Not saying the PO couldn't have done something wrong because at this stage of my ownership with this rig anything is possible. I'm going to take what @Tractorman said and run the truck once it's operating again and go form there. I'm trying to not throw more parts at it but that 3rd gen brake upgrade looks like a good investment, would hate to purchase and install for the issue to still be present. Still waiting on my ECM/PCM and wiring harness to be sent back from Auto Computer Specialist they've had my parts for well over a month now, found lots of issues so hopefully this truck will finally get itself in line so I can drive it across the country in September! The wife wants to do a 4,000 mile zig zag across the US back to Washington, i'm not looking forward to this at all
