Speaker replacement
What brand did you end up going with? I was thinking about getting a full set of kickers. What head unit did you get?

MPG's Reports
I have always wondered what it would be like to run propane . Anyway, I have been averaging a steady 18 mpg's. This is in town and/or freeway travel at 65 mph. I saw 20.2 once but that was on a very flat highway going 55 mph for the whole tank. I think 18 is very good considering my injector/tire situation. Going to some rv275's soon!! Here in Yakima, WA diesel is hanging around $4.00 a gallon.

Speaker replacement
Oh ok. My head unit is replaced too. I never thought about the speakers themselves amplified. I always thought there was just one amp.

Ok. So if there is a tweeter on the pillar I have premium sound. If I have premium sound, I should have a stock amp, right?

Fuel return "Tee"
Thats really clever if you ask me. Seems like that would totally eliminate the problem. I am probably going to do that. Thanks so much for the tips!! It is much appreciated:hyper:

Brutal MPG!
Im assuming its not normal but maybe I am wrong? Shouldnt they both be dirty?

CB radio
What Rogan said. I have a 29 LTD chrome but a classic would be great too. I have a K40 top loaded antenna and I have great communication with the combo. Its hard to go wrong with cobra products. As for the mount location, I have a 6 speed so I had that little pocket in the lower dash above the gear shift. I took that pocket section out and fabricated a flat piece of metal to mount the same exact way the pocket did and I mounted my CB to that. I made myself a stainless bracket for the antenna and mounted it with the middle fender bolt.

How exactly do you know if you have the premium sound or not? Is there a way without pulling the speakers? Im just curious...

Brutal MPG!
So I have been slowly seeing lower mpg's myself. I am experiementing with some things though so that might be why. Anyway, I pulled both the map and iat sensor to clean them. The IAT sensor was VERY black and even a bit oily. The MAP sensor on the other hand was completely clean, dry, spotless.... Is that weird?

Fuel return "Tee"
Awesome! Thats what I needed to know. I never thought about just using the push lock fittings. Did you replace the one in the head with a push lock? I mean replace the banjo fitting and all?

Fuel return "Tee"
Anyone have any tips or tricks for getting at the banjo fitting on the back of the head? Mine is leaking BAD.

I am looking to get a set of the rv275's pretty soon. Apart from the injectors, what else should I get when I do the swap? I am not all that sure what goes into an injector swap so I am not sure what extra parts to get.

4.10's to 3.55's diff's with a auto tranny
I have thought about going to the 3.73's on my truck someday. I do a fair amount of highway travel and would like to go 70mph once in a while. With my 4.10's I have to keep her around 65 to break 18 mpg's. I have the 6 speed though. Does anyone have the 3.73's on the nv5600? What rpm's are you turning if you do? Just curious...

sluggish and laggy...any ideas?
Are you still able to build boost? I had an issue with my MAP senser a while ago and it was being messed up by my comp when it died. I unplugged the comp and it ran fine. Might be the tuner messing up. Just a though..

Edge Comp Box
It pumped enough fuel in to shut down the motor. I had to crank on it a bit to finally clean the fuel out of the cylinders. I also had a code for a turbo overboost condition lol.Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk 2

Ok I got the tuner back. It works great!! I had er on 5x5 this morning and did a fast take off. Got to fifth gear and she flooded out!!!! Lol. 100hp injectors on a stock turbo is no good I guess:) Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk 2

oil in turbo
that makes sense. I was just curious if burning oil like from bad seals like that would make the exhaust temp go up. If the oil is going into the intake, wouldnt that be bad for the intercooler? Could the oil build up enough inside of it to plug it maybe?

Blowby
My truck doesn't give any blow by vapor, and I can't ever feel any pressure from the oil filler cap. I am going through about a quart every 600-800 miles... I have asked around and might have narrowed it down to the turbo.. I don't ever have any on the ground either.Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk 2

Cool thanks for the tips. I will check my valve adjustments whenever I get in to do the injectors then.

ok thats what I thought but I didnt want to assume. I might just do that because I also want to check my valve adjustment. Anyone have any input on what they have their valves at? Sorry I am off topic....
