Quick Pic needed

I need a quick pic of how the heater core hoses are routed. Putting in new hose in atm and cant find pics of how its supposed to be routed...

Ummm... Someone's nasty idea of plumbing... It suppose to be a steel pipe from the fitting in the front to just behind the turbo. Then 2 short hoses from the fittings to the firewall. There is nothing I know of for coolant at the front like what you got...

You must be missing that tube Mike is talking about. When I had my turbo replaced I took that tube off and cleaned it then put few coats of paint on it, as it was getting rusty. Maybe yours went bad and po threw it out. You can make something out of brass tube, elbows and put some inline shut off valves to isolate heater core, like some do.

Rubber hose on Exhaust turbo total fail!!!  You asked what we thought.  Bone yard or dodge dealer and get the correct part.

Well the extra hose just laying there was just me messing as round. I wouldn't be putting it near enough to get hot lol... 

 

So I guess what I  was after is there is supposed to be a metal pipe running back... yea I never had one, go figure. I guess I'll plum one up going straight back then go to hose from there. My father in law might have an extra one from his truck, I'll check that too.

You can make the pipe from 1/2" copper plumbing and solder the pieces together. The tube mounts to the manifold behind the turbo.

I guess I could just 90* over and around the oil filter? Can someone post a pic of this area so I can see how its routed factory?

The steel line goes up over the top of the oil filter.

Ahh... ok, makes sense now. 

Is it a hard connection on the lower or is it a hose (butt connector) just wanna make sure PO didnt swap it out for a barbed fitting or something different. This helps alot, thanks!

Small chunk of hose and two squeeze clamps. Then steel tube.
