Kelderman rear suspension question

Recommended Posts

Recently acquired a 2000 3500 dually to replace my 88 w350 with a bad frame.

When I went to look at it was told it had air bags in rear.

When looked under rear was very confused by the setup under there.

Took me a few minutes to figure it out.

Never saw a setup like it before.

After buying it and getting it home did some digging and found out it is a Kelderman 2 stage rear suspension setup.

Anyone know what pressure to set the bags at?

They were deflated when I got it.

Put about 35psi in them and they are holding fine

Truck definitely rides nicer than my 88 w350!

Yeah same here

Guess they are not too common

Going on road trip tomorrow 1200 miles each way

Lots more room than the subaru and the cruise works!

Rides better than any unloaded dually I have been in before

Will give review when I get back next week
