Auto Computer Specialist customer service

Recommended Posts

I'm not to sure where to place this post as it deals with a company which many of us have dealt with in the past. I've attached my Google review of  Auto Computer Specialist (ACS) below as I feel our community needs to know about how terrible the customer service is with these people. I'm not sure if there was a recent change in ownership or management but it has been beyond childish. To the point they are claiming via google reviews I was never a customer and must be mistaken.

See attached photos, I have also posted in my original review. All I wanted to do was speak with the owners about the professionalism of Dominic who is the front desk person at ACS. If anyone has questions feel free to ask, I have been beyond understanding with ACS and it's sad that they treat paying customers so terribly. I'm sure there are interactions with ACS I have forgotten about in the review (arguing the existence of an injector harness on a 24v, sending items to wrong customers, not shipping when promised, time management, under quoting)

EDIT: I have attached my invoices from ACS who replied to this review claiming they have never dealt with me as a customer. I don't believe there is another Auto Computer Specialist located at the same address as I writing this review on. As of 9/3/2020 I have made multiple attempts to contact owners and been ignored every time. DO NOT UTILIZE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!

Absolute worst customer service I have encountered in a very long time. ACS has no concept of time management and following through. I have had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with ACS for the last two months trying to get my ECM, PCM, and wiring harnesses repaired and returned. They have miss quoted me by $300, blown through 3 different time lines and planned on not even telling me the price increase until I contacted them.

They failed to ship my items on time on multiple occasions, it required me to contact them every time to ask why the products did not ship. At one point my boxes sat for three days before I called and ACS shrugged it off with no apologies, the customers time is not a concern of theirs.

When my items finally shipped they sent me another customers harness instead, again no sorry. They told me they would call me back, another day went by with no call back until I made the phone call where they informed me of the mix up. Instead of ensuring our wiring harnesses where taken care of they relied on the customers to ship each others harnesses, I believe at this point I received my first and only apology. The last time I asked for an update the simple response was "did you check the tracking number" no follow up call like promised, nothing.

Again terrible at time management and follow through on promises. I've requested to speak with the owners 7 days ago and was told I'd be contacted within 1-3 business days and it's still yet to happen. I've given ACS more than enough opportunities to make things right and I'm still waiting for the phone call from owners. I'll be sharing my reviews across all Dodge Cummins websites that I am part of to hopefully save someone else the headache of dealing with ACS. I highly suggest you read other customer reviews before choosing this company and giving them your hard earned paycheck.

Thanks for the feed back about this business.  It is a shame that customers are put through this.    It is hard enough to get professional customer care in face to face transactions; with transactions being done via internet, you're only a number on their screen where there can be a lack of integrity and caring.

@pepsi71ocean will see this and update his article "List of Verified and Reliable PCM/ECM Rebuilders" in the

24 Valve 2nd Generation >Engine >Electrical section.  You can also visit this article and, in the comment section, link this thread.

This too bad as we need a good ECM/ PCM repair company. I always wonder when co.'s head downward if the younger generation has something to do with it?
