Daily tune advice

Recommended Posts

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.  I need your guys help with this, I’m trying to perfect my daily tune to maximize power and fuel economy.  I was finally able to swap out the DDP 100hp injectors with some DAP 100hp injectors (so much better) Also, the truck does have 35x12.5 with 3.55 gears, I know it’s not optimal but I don’t have time or money to re-gear the truck at this time.  Below is what I’m currently running, and any input would be much appreciated.

Gears/tires are hurting you.. so theres only so much you can do.

But try 5 in low psi timing reduct

And even skips for fueling, not

+1, +1, +1, +3, +5, +4, +1..

Im working with 0-10ish as my flat spot (90%) instead of up in the boost band.. Just driving around i rarely get above 15 psi just driving normal. But im on the opposite side as you with 4.10s and undersized tires for the gears.

How about this...

This is my spreadsheet for layout of fuel and timing. It allows me to step through all the values evenly and build any ramp up I wish and can see all the numbers in real time on the spreadsheet. Ubuntu Linux I can use the Excel sheet that someone built but this works as well.

I’d add more fuel on the bottom end. You should be able to start your canbus fueling closer to 100%.  Unless you are having a lot of black smoke off the line. Load psi I’d change from 1 to 3 as well.
